Whenever a source would deal non-combat damage to you, reveal the top card of your library. If it's a land card, prevent all damage that would be dealt by that source. If it is a non-land card, that source deals damage to you equal to the converted mana cost of the revealed card instead of it's original amount.
I don't know why, and it seems pretty freaking terrible, but maybe include Rattlechains because they are good in multiples and becomes having one or two Shapesharers is an idea. Dimensional Infiltrator's upside seems small enough to at least consider it.
Gotcha - Whenever an opponent says "Return to Kamigawa" or "Color pie" you may say "Gotcha". If you do, return Maro's Scorn from the graveyard to your hand.
Destroy any number of target Planeswalkers. You gain 1 life for each Planeswalker destroyed this way.
I rarely post any more because current Magic formats are pretty bad (like said above) and also the demands of high school life. But SOI has me planning new modern brews like a storm plus I'm also going to the prerelease this weekend (I ended my run of not missing pre-releases with Oath of the Gatewatch). Summer is approaching and I'm ready to jump back into Magic. Magic is pretty seasonal as it requires a good amount of time and practice for people who like winning to enjoy. Summer hopefully brings back in some of the younger community occupied with school.
Cream of the Crop doesn't work with 1/1s, but if you can find a bunch of ways to make 2/2 or bigger tokens (like Thragtusk and Huntmaster of the Fells), it sounds like a fun idea. I don't know why you'd try to fit such a grindy card into a deck that wants to speed up the game though.

EDIT: Wow, totally responded to the wrong comment.
It kinda likes a bad version of Bogles, using a bunch of clunky 4-drop creatures to combo out is really a thing you can only do in Standard.
(I definitely haven't been saving this reply in order to bump my thread when I got back into Magic *Kappa*)
