Alright friends, I have a little brew-tastic deck coming along in my head. The idea is a Faith's Reward combo deck reminiscent of eggs except with creatures.
Cards from here on rated X/10 (based on how important I feel they are).
Ramp Cards: Wild Cantor 9/10 Thermopod 9/10 (Generates lots of mana; puts whole team in graveyard, including Witness and itself; can give itself haste making it a viable win condition) Burning-Tree Emissary 6/10 Verdant Eidolon5/10 (Filters Mana, can be returned from graveyard to fight through sweepers and other removal.) Priest of Urabrask 6/10 Composite Golem 6/10 (Generate enough mana by itself to loop, can go positive on any color except White) Pawn of Ulamog 4/10 (Can generate alot of mana with alot of creatures dying, but isn't very effective without a few creatures.) Lotus Bloom 5/10 (Immune to creature removal, does quite alot of ramp. It is a little slow however.)
Disruption Cards:
Judge's Familiar 8/10 (Easier to cast than others and has flying.) Cursecatcher 6/10 (Only to be used as extra Familiars) Martyr of Frost 7/10 (Gets everything and counters for more than one at the cost of 2 and having blue cards in hand) Rotting Rats 5/10 Ravenous Rats 5/10 Tidehollow Sculler 6/10 (Steals something pre-combo and during the combo you can exile your opponents hand) Thoughtseize 6/10 (Raw power, but doesn't contribute in any meaningful way.) Dismember 6/10 (Same as above) Shriekmaw 7/10
Got Twitch stream so hyped up and then they shot them in the face with a tranquilizer dart. Said they thought it would be good in "high tier" constructed.
Yeah those flavor texts are ripoffs of the Khans fetches. And while that does appear to be a slide from a WotC presentation the angle indicates that someone is watching the presentation and nothing is happening at PAX until later this week so no one would have seen this yet were it real. And truth be told I'd rather them not be in. It would jack the price of them up because of Modern players ripping them apart for the fetches and people like me who want the decks for the decks will find them harder to get.
And people would actually be able to play Modern, which outweighs the need for casual players to buy precon commander decks.
Welcome to MTGSalvation, we're all wonderful here!
I like what you're doing, I never noticed the spell mastery on Awakening said untap those lands, the synergy with Amulet is pretty good. Vileo basically covered everything else I would say.
Prime Time seems a bit better than Frosty, but before you do any of that you really need some disruption, otherwise you're just gonna get ran over.
Also, this is a place to post your brews if you want quick feedback, as your at least guaranteed to get feedback from me. However, if you want a whole thread to discuss your deck, you'll have to create a thread in Modern Deck Creation.
The glaring issue with Raven's Crime is that your opponent chooses what to discard rather than you. This makes Raven's Crime almost completely ineffective as early disruption.
Before you start going into those card choices, you have a good beginning shell, but ou MUST have disruption in Modern or a ultra quick clock (Infect/Gishoalbrand/Bogles). This deck does not have that speed and is very midrangey, so you need some disruption. Molten Vortex and Anger of the Gods are not going to cut it, you need hand disruption, countermagic, etc., something that will buy you time against a variety of decks. I'd reccomend black for Abrupt Decay and Thoughtseize seeing as you already have Worm Harvest.
Another reason I reccomended Lotus Cobra is because it speeds you up dramatically, especially with fetches. It isn't bad late game because it makes the Life from the Loam and sac-lands value engine a whole lot faster, as well as a few other benefits. 2-3 may be appropriate because it is really bad in multiples.
Core Cards:
Faith's Reward
Eternal Witness
Chord of Calling
Blood Artist (Cheapest Win Condition, powerful on it's own.)
Cards from here on rated X/10 (based on how important I feel they are).
Ramp Cards:
Wild Cantor 9/10
Thermopod 9/10 (Generates lots of mana; puts whole team in graveyard, including Witness and itself; can give itself haste making it a viable win condition)

Dismember 6/10 (Same as above)
Shriekmaw 7/10
Value Cards:
Alchemist's Apprentice 7/10 (Dig through your deck to play your whole deck.)
Coiling Oracle 8/10 (Same as above, though I like it a little better.)
Liliana, Heretical Healer 7/10 (Such powerful, so value, very synergy.)
Merciless Executioner/Fleshbag Marauder 6/10 (Plague Wind)
Viscera Seer 7/10 (Seems like a good synergistic fit overall.)
Engine Cards:
Proclamation of Rebirth 7/10 (Value to cast, soft lock with Martyr of Frost)
Collected Company 9/10 (If it isn't in, how can we take ourselves seriously?)
Return to the Ranks 6/10 (Not bad value.)
Tell me what you think! Do you have any cards I missed; any lists you think would work or even have tested?
And people would actually be able to play Modern, which outweighs the need for casual players to buy precon commander decks.
