If you play boss sligh, yes, it is faster and more explosive than Jeskai Aggro but certainly it's not more consistent. I don't how long have you played mono-red sligh but you should know that the deck mulligans a lot.
Mana consistency is what I meant.
Also, the deck is rather redundant from my experience, and I only had to mull to 6 a couple times that night and only lost one game (admittedly my fault, didn't keep my burn spell available against ascendancy combo and they combo'd off) which left me with 9 TOURNAMENT games (I played others and mulled maybe once), the deck may mull more than others, but it doesn't seem to hurt it at all...
So I recently won my first FNM playing a CHEAP (<30$, no Rabble) deck, and I noticed some things about the deck.
The graveyard fills up fast.
The deck can get to a higher devotion count against removal light decks.
The deck really falters against lots of cheap removal.
The first thing that popped out at me while testing the deck was how quick the graveyard filled up. And, because of my obscene love of Treasure Cruise, I decided to splash U for Treasure Cruise, and, I mean, I won, so yea. The card is just busted, the ability for me to ancestral recall in a deck that is full of cheap spells is just broken, it allows me to refill after my initial burst, and get those last points of damage through.
What I also noticed is that the deck can attain a fairly high devotion count after a while. But because of the fast nature of this deck, I never needed to use my 2 Nykthos, and it led me to wonder was it worth it?
And the last thing I was thinking about is how I was going to be a horde of cheap removal out of my opponent's sideboard? Well, what if my sideboard looked like this?
So, two cards to conside, Chromatic Star and Kessig Wolf Run. Kessing Wolf run is uncounterable and and takes up a land slot, Chromatic Star lets you splash easily and combo on turn 3.

Thanks, but I don't see why I should play Jeskai, Mono-Red seems faster and more consistent, would you care to elaborate?
Also, I will add 3 confluence.
Thank you!

After board I would be a Big Red Midrange deck, negating my opponent's SB and leaving them with a lot of dead removal.
So in the end, this would be just about the final decklist for my deck.
