Considering SCG is dropping Legacy like a hot potato, you will very soon be unable to either sell your cards at a profit or play the format on a regular basis outside of casual play. I realize that people who love Legacy love it for really good reasons and want to evangelize it, but now is the worst possible time to buy into the format and encouraging people to do so is wrong.
I'm wondering about begining to play Legacy and want to know more about what you are saying.
What is the part of 'fact' and the part of 'opinion' in what you are saying?
It has to be said, I've not had too many issues with burn (although I'm running 4 riftwatcher, 4 exarch, and riftwatcher is hilarious in that MU). Leyline is strong there, though. Possibly consider some Mangaras or some crucibles for Tron in the board?
I had no trouble dealing with Burn even without as much lifegain as you, so I guess I'll keep the Aven Riftwatcher out. I think I'll put a Crucible of Worlds or two on the side, though. Thanks
You could run Celestial Purge to take out Lili and many others but I personally wouldn't complain about Lightcaster being reusable and a creature haha.
In fact I've added the Lightcasters without trying them. If it fails, I'll try the Celestial Purge. Thanks!
Anyone has suggestions?
I’m having a lot of trouble dealing with hand disruption (in general) and Liliana of the Veil especially (hence de Devout Lightcaster).
Seeing the high density of Wizards creatures in the deck, why not put Vedalken Aethermage in? An un-counterable 3-mana tutor for the answer you need sounds good. Too many non-basic? Magus. Annoying creature? Sower.
I enjoy the idea of the format, not the actual play. I want a more balanced format between the archtypes. But the format is very new and I am willing to give it time to adjust.
Exactly. You can create explosive Combo or Aggro decks in a vaccum, but Control decks are far more reactive (metagame-wise). There was no great control decks at PT Philadelphia - and thus not a fair distribution of aggro-combo-control archetypes - because 1) the metagame was mostly unknown and 2) the most represented deck on the field was a bad Control matchup.
I trust Wizards to do what it takes to make the format healthy, simply because there is a lot of money involved for them in the long run. We are still in the "growing pains" stage of the format.

Has it been tested? If so, why was it put aside?
