Leyline of Sanctity is much tougher to deal with, but if you play Empty the Warrens (which you almost definitely should in at least sideboard, I personally have one copy mainboard) you can overwhelm with goblins, which bypass Leyline.

If for some reason you don't have Empty or don't draw it, any bounce spell will do the job too, Echoing Truth being probably the most effective as it can bounce multiple Leylines (if that comes up).

It actually does get around Leyline, the counters you're putting on Aria go on the stack before the spell resolves, so you don't actually care about the spell being exiled by Leyline after resolving more than you are getting a counter on Aria of Flame. You want to sideboard it in against decks that can easily disrupt your standard combo and decks that struggle to remove enchantments.

Think about this: every spell you cast is essentially +1 damage with Aria of Flame on your opponent without the spell even resolving. So, assuming your opponent is at 30 life (20 starting plus Aria ETB trigger), you only need to cast eight spells rather than casting, resolving, and then storming off 20 spells.

Aria is the exact opposite of a win-more card for Storm, it's closer to an alternate win-con.

Looks like I'm back for a brief time with a single question: how has Spirebluff Canal shifted our landbase? What have we taken out so that we can run it?

That's all I really have, I'm planning to sell of my collection and only have this deck and my Commander decks. Might still lurk here and there occasionally.

Are you talking sideboard plan for us, or against us?

In any case, they're all too slow to be able to stop us going off, and in Counterflux's case there are easier ways to stop us going off, like Bolting an Electromancer or Abrupt Decay on Ascension.

Seething Song is banned last time I checked.

Think of Electromancer as a sorcery that makes all your spells cost 1 less to cast, rather than a creature with that ability since most of the time it'll be killed before your next turn. Only 3 copies isn't enough, which is why 4 is the best. Finkel's article on Storm also explains why you always run 4 Electromancer, I recommend you check it out, multiple people have put the link in this thread.

Much worse because it costs more, it's at sorcery speed, and in terms of filling your grave with fuel for PiF and digging thru your deck it digs 2 cards deep rather than 3.

So, Ancestral Vision has been unbanned. Is it possible to fit it in the deck, even if the suspend takes too long?

Yep, that's generally what most of us here do.

If you have any blue fetches, run those. Scalding Tarn is the best only because of the option to fetch both Island and Mountain, but as long as you have blue fetches you'll be fine. Everything else should depend on the number of fetches you have. Basically any land that comes in untapped is what you should play

The Zombies do not come in tapped, but I do agree with the fact that it's basically a slower Empty in our deck.

No, the cons heavily outweigh the pros

Edit: Just realized how good Rise from the Tides can be. 7 mana is pretty achievable once we go off, even if we have to hold one blue floating for it.
The only drawback I can see that's obvious is that PiF can dilute it's effectiveness significantly.

Did not see that you had to pay the cost of the targeted card in the grave. That significantly changes my thoughts on its power. Will still test with it though.

I think it could be good if you have a redundant hand, which happens pretty often. Like, ritual into this, next turn cast another rit and have 6 red mana floating to go off.
What I'm saying is that it's very possible for this card to make turn 3 kills much more consistent. Needs a lot of testing though, and I'm sure ChucklingAtom will do a lot of it, and I certainly plan to.

Another card I want to talk about from the new spoilers is Epiphany at the Drownyard. Doesn't seem too good, but I think it has a little potential.

Pithing Needle is also a decent choice to shut down Relic, but since Eldrazi decks also run Scrabbling Claws it's not incredibly good.
