Quote from Trifas »I like playing Paths Main Deck, they're probably our only hope against decks like Twin and Bloom Titan.
As for fauna shaman: yes its a bear as it CIP, but if he survives the turn you're bound to win and that's personally a reason to play him. He's my opponents worst fear, as it procedures the right hate for whatever they're holding...
You can't play humility turn 2, and if combo elves is on the play you will probably die because they consistently combo on turn 3. And by tutors do you mean enlightened tutor? Because most everyone (myself included) have dropped them entirely because they are pretty bad. Especially against blue decks because they just counter what you tutored for and that puts us so far behind. Keep in mind that 6 of our 10 engine pieces (I'm counting GSZ here) are argothians, and are shut down by humility. I always have about 1 or 2 sideboard flex slots, so I don't think you should have much trouble squeezing in 1 or 2 sb cards for elves if you're that worried about running into this matchup a lot.
Sure Humility does help with a few more matchups, but I've never played more than 1 anyway.
(how many enchantress effects/ growth effects do you look to have before you can go nuts?)
