i feel deed is bad in this deck stp + vindicate +eternal witness feels just fine for removal my suggestion -4 pernicious deed +1 astral slide probably +1 living wish and +2-3 cycling cards or creatures with Comes into play or leaves play effects. vexing shusher should be in the board as well especially if your worried about counterspells
My build that ive played last 2 weeks in local tournements made took 6th and 8th out of 20+ players which isnt too shabby but there were too many rug decks which i cant seem to win even a game vs.:( wasteland +a million counters own this deck
If i have both island sanctuary and solitary confinement in play and i am forced to skip my draw step for solitary does it count for island sanctuary as well? or do i have to skip another card draw as well

opening grip is mana bond and 6 lands 3 man lands i go aggro lol

back to basics sucks for me but it screws him over too cause the only land he has is 1 island and 4 nonbasics and no vial after about 10 turns of draw go with a confidant a zuran orb and an exploration in play i get explosives for 3 and wipe his board and most of his land and tar pit brings it home

he fizzes out with 2 summoners pact cast and 3 land in play i topdeck tolaria west transmute for EE cast and blow it for 1 wiping his board and pass turn

My hand is 2 mox diamond, bayou, maze of ith, wasteland, chalice, and intuition he plays a land and passes i play my diamonds, chalice for 1, and waste his land pass turn he plays a land and passes i draw confidant play a land and pass he plays land bounces chalice empties his hand wishes for and plays ill gotten gains in response I intuition for mindbreak trap and the look on his face was priceless

I get double confidant online and have zuran orb and 2 exploration he killed my orb in response i sacrificed all my land gaining me 16 life he laughs and picks up his cards showed me his hand of 3 Price of progress3 sulfuric vortex I kept 2 of his 4 mountains tapped the whole match

I am a master of the topdeck lol second turn he has a crazy amount of zombies I topdeck tabernacle he pays for 3 guys and sacks them for dread return getting iona naming green sure enough i topdeck LftL pass turn .he dredges i pray for no flame kin zealot /phew he swings for 7 therapies me naming o stone i have bayou lftl and confidant (no black source to play him ). draw and play bajuka bog he frowns and pass turn. he makes a huge play error and forgets to pay for tabernacle bye bye iona . It goes downhill for him from there

Game 3 My hand was like angels picked out my cards and delivered me the perfect hand Mox , tabernacle, wasteland, tormods crypt, Lftl, fetchland, and exploration he tries to make it work going aggro with imps but i topdeck bajuka bog and academy ruins and destroy his graveyard every turn

why are none of the builds running exploration instead of wild growth makes the deck less vulnerable to land d and speeds acceleration especially with the crazy card draw. Also seal of cleansingseal of primordium or aura of silence are pretty vital id say one of your choice main and one side
Playing mono blue with shackles your gonna take control of the 1-2 creatures that do manage to make it on to the playfield so splashing white puts you at more risk for wasteland and color screw. Mainboard stifles and trickbinds not only are amazing vs any deck but combo nicely with dreadnaught for a 2 turn clock not recomended if your meta is full of removal sphinx of jwar isle would be your better option . remand comboed with predict can be ancestral recall + counterspell for 4 mana . My meta is full of tribal decks (merfolk goblins slivers) and a few random control / combo decks heres my list minus jaces cause i cant afford them
I built a version of this deck 2 years ago for fun but since the addition of the new leylines have been giving serious thought into making it tournament worthy. The basic premise of the deck start with 4+ leylines in play and play opalessence for the 1-2 turn win. With 8 tutors for enchants and basicaly 8 serra's sanctum courtesy of crop roatation the deck is fairly consistent and VERY fast. I would like some constructive criticism and ideas for cards i may not have thought of and where to squeeze in oblivion ring
Just a thought but would the R/G goblin deck benefit from rancor trampling piledrivers and lackeys would be a total pain in the ass to deal with as they could no longer be chumpblocked

Board -3 fire imp +3 pyrostatic pillar . Game two my hand is crazy it consisted of land mox mox, troll, COH, ESG, jitte .first turn troll via the two moxes I pray for a second land TD second land on my turn 2 play jitte equip swing he gets in a few bolts on me but jitte+troll is how you say good

game one on the draw first turn Burning tree shaman via mox and a guide.His second turn isochron scepter imprinting boomerang he takes 6 points of damage bouncing my shaman every turn till he taps out and plays morphling I play troll and jitte his turn he makes his morpling fly and smacks for 5 in the air leaving 3 blue open My turn I equip jitte and swing and he makes a big play error he untaps morphling blocks and pumps the morphlings butt I regen the troll and after damage kill morphling with jitte.
Board for this one is tough seing as how I could probly put all of it in cept the loaming shamans I go with -3 fire imp -2 iwomari +2 krosan grip +3 pyrostatic pillar
Game two Hand was 2x fetch, Sakura tribe elderx2, pyostatic pillar, mox, and Challice I keep it. His turn island pass me land mox STE, his turn city of brass isochron w/ counter spell I decide to leave elder on the board TD spirit guide remove spirit guide go for chalice for 2 and he has daze elder beats. His turn island pass I draw land play second elder he lets it resolve elder beats. His turn no land pass. Draw magma jet try jetting his face he counters it I play pillar he went He eventualy draws 2 more land to play damnation but by that point he was at 3 life between the elder beatdown and pillar and his city of brass

Board is easy for this one -2 troll -4 COTH +2 viridian shaman +2 krosan grip +2 tin-street hooligan Him first turn he drops his hand basicaly and passes my turn I play Burning Tree Shaman and pass he thoughtcasts drops a disciple and passes my turn BTS #2 pass. his turn ravager go my turn TD BTS #3 play him and my opponent picks up his cards

He plays a mongoose I play COTH . His turn he draws a bunch of cards gets thresh and passes. I swing the elephant he lets it thru then play troll it resolves !! His turn another mongoose and Pithing needle naming troll ARG! Back to me I draw pillar play it FOW. swing elephant and troll trade with the geese. His turn he naturalizes one of my moxes Leaving me with only 2 mana. I td pillar and play it. He draws bear and plays it. I draw land pass. he draws swings 4 and passes I draw Loaming shaman he has one card in hand and 3 mana available I go for broke hoping its not a counter it resolves! Next turn i get a land and flashback call GG
round six finals vs zoo
game one first turn chalice at 1 kicks his teeth in
game two I dont ever get more than one permanent on the board at a time bewteen shattering spree and stp
game three is looking good for me hes at 4 life Im at 18 still he has 2 silver knight on the board to my 2 BTS + troll He Tds armadillo cloak puts it on the Knight and rides it to victory
So I finish the day 4-2 Happy and really impressed with the deck
I really liked the fire imps and Sakura Tribe elders in the deck they were tech pcs that won me a couple games
What does everyone think the percentages of control/ combo/ aggro will be at the GP I personally believe it will be combo ridden like 40-45% and my deck will have heavy board and a couple main slots for the combo match. Of course I probly wont face a single one of them lol but Ill be preppared to stomp them into the ground game 2-3.
Im going to be playing a R/W/G combo enchantress deck which has been kicking ass and taking names in the local tourneys In fact so much that locals have started putting tranquility effects x 4 in there board just to try and slow me down well at least until I drop this little gem karmic justice Ill post my list after the gp. Lookin forward to playing against some of you see you there.
As for the last countersliver deck I played talon sliver x3 and essence sliver x 2 w/ 1 in board always proved to be allstars the and tended to win me alot of games vs the goblin matchup I can only imagine having 8 muscle slivers lol talk about uber pwnage vs the opposing aggro deck ! 4 winged slivers are a must eveasion is the tech when your in a race.
