III is really good, in most cases there will be a creature or planeswalker with cmc over 5, so it basically pays for itself after three turns. All three abilities provide card advantage, with I and III providing mana advantage. In most cases it is better than a 5cmc enchantment with "draw three cards. at beg. of your upkeep, put a counter, at three counters sacrifice and gain 5 mana"

Compared to Ob Nixilis Reignited, +1 and -3 are better in exchange for starting with one less loyalty.

    super powerful late game

    Better than The Chain Veil

If it sticks, this card can prevent opponents from casting sorceries, 6mana might be a bit much though. It seems great in a casual environment, but not so much in a competitive EDH game.

the reason standard sucks is because WotC won't print good answers because they are unfun. But honestly a standard with powerful answers would be much more fun than what it is today. A standard with Doom Blade, Lightning Bolt, Path to Exile, Wrath of God, and Counterspell would be the best one in years.

Compared to Ob Nixilis Reignited, starts with 1 less loyalty, plus one deals 1 more dmg but has opp discard instead of having you draw so Ob wins here, Angrath has better -3, Ob probably has a better -8.
Slightly worse than Ob but still decent.

    Vraska, Relic Seeker

compared to Vraska the Unseen, this is one more mana but all three abilities are a little bit better and it starts with and gains more loyalty.

New Nicol Bolas is insane as expected.

Samut is pretty bad for this deck as two thirds of her abilities are next to useless for most Superfriends decks.

Faith of the Devoted isn't that good. you can't cast it early game, you'd rather be casting something else in the midgame, and late game you'd rather be hardcasting creatures rather than cycling them. also its too slow as an anti-aggro card

< hey i'm back, hopefully you enjoyed your regularly scheduled broadcast of leftist echo chamber. >

on water distribution, why is this a problem? it is unlikely that a water provider would want to start charging monopoly prices as this is a highly ineffective strategy... communities that are gouged on water prices could truck in their water, get it from wells, or there could be a water providing business that approaches members of the community and agrees to build pipes and sell them water at a reasonable market price as long as the patrons agree to get their water from them for whatever amount of time is specified on the contract.

on how the legal system would work, people would patronize private protection agencies which would offer them dispute resolution services in exchange for a monthly fee. now you might ask couldn't big businesses ignore the private protection agencies? well the big businesses wouldn't be able to stay big for very long if they spent revenue on a private army instead of reinvesting it back into the business. now wouldn't the private protection agencies fight each other?, well the answer to that is that it is unlikely that two protection agencies would fight each other because it is expensive and would be bad press, instead they would negotiate the dispute or they would choose a mutually agreed upon arbitrator to decide on the case.

    My thoughts on the issue.
    1. It was probably ISIS just like it was back in 2013 when there were accusations of a gas attack by assad but after further investigation it was found to be ISIS, what reason does assad have to gas his own people?
    2. Whoever it was, the US shouldn't get involved. Military conflict is costly in lives and money and it just makes things worse in the region it is fought in.
    3. Attacking Syria makes ISIS stronger, the syrian government is currently fighting isis.
    4. if the us is going to fight anyone, it should fight isis which has done and has the potential to do more damage than the syrian government or any other national government in the area.

Well it could serve as a sort of Platinum Angel effect if it gets its emblem out and keep making it into an indestructible creature everyturn. Problem is that this combo can be countered with instant speed removal and exile effects. It does get better if you run additional Gideons though... Worst case scenario its a 4/4 indestructible creature which is not very good in edh. I dont think I'd run this...

Not saying there'll be no laws but there will not be a coercive monopoly on violence. Disputes would be resolved through common law.

An anarchist society would be well armed because of concerns like yours. If need be it would be able to fight a defensive war and history has shown us that those on the defensive are at a highly advantageous position compared to the aggressors, using guerilla tactics like Vietnam.
