Do not really like this over-specilized kind of commander but the UWR one is good for that colors.
Also BUG one tickle my brain.
There's many red in this set!
Thanks for your advices, they'll be precious. Coat of arms can be surely another card to be evaluated in a token strategy. I'm thinking to build a base of Raff deck and then try to change strategies form big "fishes" like yours and small fishes like tokens. Do not really like have a combo deck. On my kitchen table combo decks are received with the max possible damage dose, and sincerely I encourage this kind of behaviour. Otherwise paradox engine can be useful with token production strategy too, but surely underused.
Well, i'm assembling a Raff Capashen, Ship's Mage and first issue i want face is how to win with a WU deck and particular exploiting control way Raff have. One way to win efficiently with this color can be a token way. Analysing token producers cards fit with premises there are some interesting cards like Darien, King of Kjeldor, Monastery Mentor and Orochi Hatchery and some other classics i.e. Sacred Mesa, gods and so on.
About Darien, King of Kjeldor I've the same doubts you explain, Raff seems wasted for a sisters strategy. Monastery Mentor do not perfectly fit perfectly with Raff but number of creatures played in any my version of Raff deck is low so Mentor can generate a good number of token with prowess at end of turns or in response of opponents attacks. A maniple of prowess monk can be a really efficient killer.
I'm not sure about token strategy about my Raff deck so next question: have you never think for another winning strategy for a Raff deck? If I understand in right way you win swinging your opponents with big creatures equipped with my favourite blade.
You are right about Book of Rass I forgot this card because in about 20 games i've in my hand about 1 or 2 times on the end of the game both times. I surely swap with something else.
About Worldslayer is not a great card but I like to play it. I'm going to test a new version with two or three more ways to make creatures indestructible.
Really great card.
When I post the images there was no tag and simply link to the same site I use to get spoilers.
Now linked to scryfall.
