It troubles me how so many of the Cube-worthy cards in Shadowmoor are hybrid. I know that I want to play a lot of them, but it will skew the color distrobution of multicolored cards in Cube.
It'll be interesting to see how people accomidate them.
Jilt seems good. So does anything else with kicker for that matter.. Aeon Chronicler is a source of major card advantage, and can be a finisher suspended for 1 late game.. Demonfire seems better than Titan's Revenge unless your deck has a way of consistently winning the clashes, which shouldn't even be necessary if you intend to control the game state with counters and burn.
Originally, the plan was to have high-counting nominees go in automatically, but with not as many people nominating as originally planned, that part of the plan is out the window.
Okay, I was thinking that the cards that were only nominated once or twice wouldn't even make it to the voting.. Thanks for the clarification.
And I misphrased my question earlier, I know that nominations =/= votes.
How long after our nominations are we allowed to edit our picks? For example, I nominate Kokusho, the Evening Star (which already has quite a few nominations) and a few hours later Bataleur nominates Helldozer, one of my favorite cards that slipped my mind when I was nominating earlier. I am inclined to edit my post to nominate Helldozer instead of Kokusho, but I am unsure if you have started tallying the votes already? I'm sure it's not a big deal, but some clarification would be nice.
And the colors should definitely be even at the start. My friends and I started with an equal number of cards in each color, but gradually skewed the numbers to help support some of the colors that were underdrafted (white). It's a trial and error process though, and I think that we definitely should start with a balanced color distribution. Just my two cents though..
BTW Shepard, you are doing an amazing job with this.
I like Rival's Duel here. It is a 2 for 1 a lot of the time, and is able help clear the board if it gets locked up in the mid-late game. Earthbrawn is obviously good, but I think the strain on the manabase is not worth it.

Nezumi Shortfang
Mesmeric Fiend
Carnophage
Augur of Skulls
Nameless Inversion
Chainer's Edict
Reanimate
Phyrexian Arena
Nekrataal
Okiba-Gang Shinobi
Faceless Butcher
Kagemaro, First to Suffer
Just my two cents..
