I really don't understand why people are comparing this card to Yawgmoth's Will. Sure they both utilize the graveyard, but aren't really even close in power level or playability.

Yawgmoth's Will is one of, if not the most broken card ever printed, while this is borderline unplayable.

This seems really good.

I mean with Honor of the Pure, by itself, its 10 damage with the 2 tokens, Easy Turn 5 kills with Brave The Elements and the like. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

I can confirm that Prismatic Omen does Work with Valakut, I just got smoked by it on Mtgo, so the ruling that it counts them as mountains is correct. The deck was incredible, Playing the treehouse doran list 3 qasali pridemage, but still got clowned for 72 damage out of the blue. on like turn 4. He had 6 lands, 2 valakuts, scape for 2 more vala and 2 other lands, they all trigger simultaneously when Omen is in play, and wreck face.

Also, no one has mentioned how it works with fetchlands. It makes them able to tap for mana as well as able to search for another.


It was extremely cool to see first hand. I honestly don't know how I could have won.

yea some kid tried to play a boros garisson first turn agaisnt me, and i told him he couldnt do that. and he went "N00b" and left. also a seperate occaision i was plaiyng std heartbeat combo, it was like turn 4 i believe. the kid keeps rambling about how all my deck does it search lands :), and how i havent even dealt him any damage, of course someone who says somehting like that obviously has little to no understanding of the game. then i cast weird harvest and he starst putting guys into play and gets pissed when i tell him hes wrong. then i combo off and proceed to demonfire him for about 45 he quits.

Would everyone that thinks that Fow is going to be reprinted please leave. Seriously. stop wasting everyones time. WIzards has stated that it will not be in Coldsnap. Now, i dont think that we can rule out Brainstorm or Arcane Denial, but Fow needs to be out of everyones head. And yes it would ruin the value of the originals. The printing 1,000 mox thing is nowhere near a valid comparison to mass producing Fow's in pre-cons. Now there are going to be new pitch cards, they require 2 cards of the color tho from what ive seen so far. Not as powerful. It would be cool if there was something like this:

You may remove 2 blue cards instead of paying ~ mana cost.

Counter target spell unless its controller pays 1.


Now if they made that card, it wouldnt be anywhere near Fow, but its still powerful enough to be playable, while not being broken.

Hey everybody, im Wyatt. Ive browsed this site for about 2 years, but just became a member. I've been playing Magic since 7th/Invasion. Got into bigger Tourneys around Odyssey/Torment. I play all of the major formats (Standard, Extended, Legacy, Vintage, Limited). The biggest thing ive ever done Magic-wise was qualifying for PT Philadelphia, winning a few JSS's, 8th at a regionals tourney or winning FNM every night for about 3 months. I am currently playing GB Aggro/Control Splashing U in standard (Its aight i gue, bulding Eminent Domain and BW Aggro. Gro-A-Tog in Vintage, GU Madness in EXT, and Landstill and Threshold in Legacy.
