If these had only been printed in non foil or if they had simply changed the artwork, I wouldn't have any issue with this. But the fact they chose to have this as a foil drop feels like a slap in the face to the work the judges put in and the reward that came from of the original judge foil Norn. To me it's not about price, so much as the continuing precedent they are setting.
The question that remains is: Will they become historic legal? because having stuff like Demonic Tutor and Swords to Plowshares and likely Brainstorm, Lightning Bolt, Counterspell and other stuff at this level would VASTLY change the format.
Considering that the invocation/masterpiece "legacy reprint" cards were never made legal in the modern and standard formats I seriously doubt they would make these reprints historic legal.
If this is real, which I personally doubt it is. I'm not too horrifically worried about Jin in edh. Pretty sure he will get banned like Lutri on the day he's spoiled.
Can anybody glimpse more of what the elf in the binder next to Liesa is doing?
The only thing I could make out:
Rootweaver Druid 2G
Creature - Elf Druid
When enters the battlefield search your library for three basic land cards on put them onto the battlefield.
2/1
Not sure if it is only the player who gets to search their library, or everyone. The second part must be some kind of drawback, if it is only the player who gets to search their library.
New elf druids were the thing I was most excited for in this set. I don't suppose with the slightly clearer binder pictures, that any kind soul could please tell me what this elf druid does?
Well I looked the binder image. It is still *****ty.
What I got:
Wenn der Wurzelweber Druide in Spiel kommt, kann _____ Gegner seine Bibliothek nach bis zu drei Standardland-Karten durchsuchen. Jede dieser Spieler _____ der eine Karte
The rest is just blurry... and I am not sure if the part I got is right... If it is right than it seems like you opponents are getting the lands and after that you get a bonus for each land they took. I wouldn't put my hand into the fire but I guess it will be a Collective Voyage variant on etb.
If that's even remotely true thats amazing
Edit: I looked up the German printing of Collective Voyage on scryfall and I see a similar templating to the words so I think you're definitely onto something

(This better not mean both versions are WPN exclusive)
Did a quick google search cause I was curious myself
"WPN Premium
Premium stores will get the same benefits as all WPN members, plus exclusive events, priority and recognition in the Store and Event Locator, upgraded promo materials, MTG Arena codes for exclusive content, etc. Less than five percent of stores qualify for premium status."
In addition my favorite lgs said they only qualified for 10 non foil and 1 foil box of this product. I fear stores could be severely undervalued/underestimating this product. And refunds may be in the future for many of those who attempted to preorder this if my lgs is any indicator on quantities.
My guess is they might include the other half of the walkers since the first few secret lairs didn't seem to include them all. Most notably stained glass Narset...
I'm legitimately not happy with this. I don't make a whole lot of money, but I saved up and bought a foil Marrow Gnawer for Christmas. And now this gets annouced and will surely tank the price of the original.
I personally hope this doesn't get banned because I'm dying to commit sacrilege by tossing this gem into my Mishra EDH. Personally I think it requires too many enablers to get banned but I also don't have the foresight for combos that more seasoned players do.
So, for our list of major mythic legends from Magic's past, we have:
I wonder who the red and green members will be?
I'm theorizing that Gaea could be the green. As for red I have no idea, Mishra maybe? (assuming this is in fact following "the Brother's War" as a theme)
Edited for clarification

Like I'm all for any card that allows my Seton, Krosan Protector deck to go off turn 1. This is awesome.
