Already pondering how I can potentially incorporate this into 8Rack lol. But I view it as an early kill or safeguard hand check before dropping something useful. The last mode I'm not sure how overly useful it would be.
I really love this deck though. I have a blast playing it (even without some of the more expensive cards *cough mishra's workshop *cough). It brings me back to a time when Time Spiral first came out and I built a deck around Mishra that ended up being fairly successful.
Glad to hear it man! Care to post your list? Any secret gems working out for you?
Edit
Also, for those who have been keeping up with this thread, I AM A DADDY!
Healthy baby girl was born last week and I am loving every minute of it! Now comes the wait to see if she will play magic with me someday...
Currently experimenting with Mox Opal and The Abyss in the 75% build. They might make the deck too strong, so only time will tell on that front.
Apologies to the community if people have been looking for updates. My first child is due within a month, and it has minimized my EDH time a little bit, since I haven't been going out as much as we wait for the arrival of our kid.
So I ever since I mentioned watching a friend play my Mishra deck I have been trying my best to learn play it more aggressively. (Admittedly difficult cause I tend to lean more towards a control deck mentality.) But the attempts have paid off. I have lost 1 game out of probably 10 via playing more aggressively. Granted I intend to use that knowledge as needed not all the time, as my local play group tends to be pretty casual, but there are a few people at my local shop who have turn 3 edh decks. (One guy has like five turn 3 decks. Coincidentally I refuse to play against any of his decks.) But they don't always show up. And when they do they often draft instead.
Besides, my Oona deck completely tore that "Mishra counter" deck apart the next round that I played. So it's not impervious to everything. Just a really strong vs Mishra in particular.
Not sure man, I guess I will have to test again next Friday and find out. Like at first it was a 4 player game, but one person dropped like turn 4 cause he was hungry. And another guy got a phone call pretty early on and had to leave. So in the end it was me and the "kryptonite" deck. And the deck always seemed like it favors multiplayer EDH. Had the other's still been there it probably would have been a different story.
So friday one of my "friends had added a new card to his 5 color ramp deck specifically in response to my Mishra deck. Ward of Bones completely shut me down. Every time I found a way to get it off the field he either brought it back to his hand (from the grave yard), tutored for it, or bounced it. So for about an hour I was locked out of the inability to really do anything. Granted he used most of his resources to keep this process up. But I don't consider that any sort of an even situation. By the time the game ended I didn't even want to play anymore that night.
sorry to hear that. have you considered more targeted artifact removal? its hard to play against people who meta specifically against us, but in the case of ward of bones, targeted removal that works for us in other ways, like vandalblast, are really your best solution.
lol Vandalblast was one of the cards I used to get it off the field once.
Edit: Seriously though I can't rationalize adding a bunch of removal for one deck that apparently was built to, more or less, screw with me. I mean if other players start running it obviously, but to me it seems odd to respond by hating on the deck that is supposed to hate on me.

What about Dark Sphere? It's a zero drop that has a potentially useful ability in a pinch. *Hahaha Pitiful Blightsteel Colossus deals 6 damage.* Or you know, more practically, half any X damage spell thrown your way.
Stranglehold is also worth considering, depending on the deck. Green decks LOVE to search libraries, and black decks. Possibly slate as a sideboard card?
Hey as a player who's other edh decks are B, BU, and BR I can say without a doubt this is absolutely... true :/
Only card I can find in my collection I can think of adding to the conversation is Stone Calendar for storm. Maybe as a backup reducer in case you're not drawing one of the others?
Congratulations man *claps*
Tis cool man life comes first.

Looks more like George Clooney to me. But an interesting card none the less.
I just choked on my coffee at this and I don't think it was meant to be intentional.
