Wow, thank you very much for all the quick answers!
I have a follow-up question: let's say Mairsil caged Gustha's Scepter.
I exile a couple cards with the Scepter's first ability and then Mairsil is destroyed and goes back to the command zone. Then I cast him again. If I use now the Scepter's second ability to return a card to my hand, will I be able to get any of the cards that were exiled by the first ability before Mairsil was destroyed?
If a card refers to itself by name, it actually means "this card" instead of the actual name. Which is why, let's say, when Morphling is caged by Mairsil, the ability "untap Morphling" becomes "untap Mairsil".
Following the same logic, if Mairsil cages one of these cards above (ex: Skyship Weatherlight), would the ability "{4}, {T}: Choose a card at random that was exiled with Skyship Weatherlight. Put that card into its owner's hand." become "{4}, {T}: Choose a card at random that was exiled with Mairsil, the Pretender. Put that card into its owner's hand." allowing me to return cards caged by Mairsil back to my hand?
I tried to find an answer on existing threads but couldn't find it, which is why I'm creating this one.
Let's suppose I have a Heliod, God of the Sun on my battlefield and devotion to White equal to five - therefore it's a creature.
My opponent casts Path to Exile targeting Heliod. While the Card is on the stack, I sacrifice one of White permanents somehow and therefore, Heliod is no longer a creature. When Path resolves, it'll check its target (no longer legal) and the spell will be countered.
Am I right about this or does Path to Exile only check the legality of its target when it's cast?
Thanks!
Thank you for the feedback, Gumgod! I've been testing a lot, trying out new things. I really really like Coretapper, it allows me to do a lot of great things. Also, Magistrate's Scepter is insane! I also decided to play blue instead of red. I also left Myr Welder out. So here's what I've got after all the tweaks:
Since Kai Budde's World Champion Wildfire deck, I've always loved artifact decks and wanted to create my own build. Keep in mind I'm trying to keep the deck in a budget and avoid expensive cards, such as City of Traitors, for example. Also, it's not intended to work the same way as Wildfire, that's just my long, long, long-time inspiration.
I would like everyone's feedback to improve the deck. It's built around charge counters and proliferate, allowing many different synergies and options. Well, here are the possibilities I have in mind.
Throne of Geth contributes to potentialize counters, sacrificing artifact lands, tokens, or other artifacts, while Contagion Clasp and Contagion Engine proliferate and double as removals.
Finally, Power Conduit allows minor situational adjustments among counters.
Everflowing Chalice is the biggest star in this deck. The idea is to cast it at 1 or 2, and let the proliferators do the rest of the job.
I wanted another zero cost artifact to generate mana, so I included a couple Jeweled Amulets as well, but I'm not sure about this. It is surprisingly useful, but I'm pretty sure there's something better out there.
Clock of Omens makes the deck work smoothly. Yes, it's more expensive than Voltaic Key, but it can be used a lot of times in a turn. Obvious targets here are Chalice and Proliferate Artifacts, but you could do other things as well.
Trading Post is a very flexible card that gives a lot of different options. However, I usually find myself using this card less than I believe I should. I wish it spawned artifact tokens.
I've also experimented with Mirrorworks and it's a very nice addition, adding extra artifacts to be sacrificed, and extra creatures to attack and defend. Its 2 mana trigger doesn't seem to hurt too much as well. If it does, you don't trigger it.
Myr Welder can turn into any sacrificed or destroyed artifact (even lands). Its 1/4 body is decent, but it often sees removal very quickly though.
Kuldotha Forgemaster can search for almost any card in the deck. However, it takes three artifacts with it, which is why I've added token spawners such as Pentavus and Thopter Assembly.
Finally, I'm testing a Mindless Automaton as well, since it can draw me extra cards. When it dies, Myr Welder can still steal its ability, with the advantage of not dying when it draws. I've previously tried a Workhorse as well, but its 6cc was too much for what it does.
Tangle Wire can keep going forever in this deck. It's pretty annoying with Mirrorworks as well, and can its counters can be managed by Power Conduit.
Lux Cannon's usage rate can be easily accelerated here. It can often be used every other turn, and every turn during late game. And at last, Comet Storm can remove threats and doubles as a win condition (it's not too difficult to deal 20+ plus damage with it).
And finally, Titan Forge acts as a win condition, and it can create a 9/9 at instant speed. It's not a bad idea to keep 3 tokens in it if you're playing against mass removal as well.
I previously tried to play with Tectonic Break, to add a Wildfire-ish effect without killing my creatures/tokens. It was nice when it worked but it ended up being dead weight most of the time. I tried to play Faithless Looting as well, but even with the Welder, you can't discard artifacts relentessly, so it didn't work. I also thought about something like Ashnod's Altar or Krark-Clan Ironworks but I prefer to save artifacts to be sacrificed by Throne of Geth.
I'm aware this cardlist may seem all over the place, but it's really fun to use, and you can do multiple things with this deck. However, it can be slow at times, I'm looking for ways to accelerate it. I also wonder if adding blue would help, allowing me to use cards such as Fabricate and Tezzeret the Seeker. For now, the current card list is:

I'm pretty sure it can never be really competitive in Legacy, but that's not the intention anyway. However, I believe it can work better, and faster.
Phew, that's it! I will appreciate any feedback you guys could give me.
