Well, if delver is already out I would play the tempo game and leave mana up to counter whatever the opponent does. Mana leak gets worse as the game goes on. I hardly ever play YP on turn two. I want some value out of him so it's either turn three or four with spells to do produce tokens.
    Hope this helps.

I played Mono Green Infect last night at my local modern FNM and I went 3-1 with this list. It was first time ever playing at an FNM and quite happy at the results but disappointed on how poorly I played in my loss. Oh well, just live and learn, right? Anyway...

My first match was a against B/W Tokens. I got him to 9 infect on turn 4 and then on his turn he cast a Zealous Persecution with 6 tokens on the field and won the game. Game 2, I had a turn 4 alpha strike with Ichorclaw Myr and Rancor swinging in for 12 infect and crushing his 2 tokens. Game 3, I did 4 infect on turn 2 and turn 3 was game.

Match 2 was against a Turbo Fog budget deck of some sorts. I took that match in two games and not really worth talking about.

Match 3 was my only lost of the night. It came against U/R Splinter Twin. He took me in two games and I poorly played against my opponent. It's definitely winnable but you have to be patient and I wasn't. Spellskite helps out a lot and I am currently purchasing two of those for this match up. Any advice on this match-up would be awesome.

Match 4 was against Mono Blue Tron. I took game 1 in three turns. Game 2, I kept a sketchy hand and then he managed to land a Chalice of the void on turn two countering all one mana spells and then landed a Spellskite on turn 3. I conceded two turns later after no drawing answers. Game 3 I landed on a Pithing Needle on turn two naming Spellskite and that game was over on turn 4 with me swinging in for an alpha strike.

All in all most of my matches were won on the first four turns. This deck is a blast to play and I'm currently working on a U/G version as my main modern deck. This deck is a good starting point to get into modern because of the cost. However, it takes a little time to learn, especially when to go for the kill, and when to hold. This deck is part aggro and part combo and it has to be played that way so keep that in mind. Anyway, hope this helps somehow.
