So, this is a spicy W/G Taxes build, a little more on the Hatebear and Aggro side but still pretty sweet. If this doesn't belong I'll post it somewhere else. I really like the 4 Aven Mindcensor's main with the Noble's. What do you all think about this deck?
Interesting list. How'd the event go for you? I think I would cut the Leonin Arbiter's for Aven Mindcensor's. The Flash is really good for those opponent who fetch. Also, how'd you like the Thought-Knot Seer?
Anyway, I come from playing Death and Taxes and thinking about trying out this build. Not sure if I want Oath of Nissa or Collected Company in this deck.
Are you heading into states with the Eldrazi Death and Taxes version or something different? Keep us updated on how you're doing and good luck tomorrow!
Do you have a Mono-white drazi decklist your working on? I would like to work on it too, if that's cool with you. I have some free time to play leagues this evening and tomorrow and was going to play BW Death and Taxes.
If like something in UR Control or something similar, Scapeshift could be a good option for you. The traditional RUG Version plays a control then combo's off at the right time. It has a pretty good decision, good sideboard options, and it's a blast to play. I used to play it before the Eldrazi winter and have always enjoyed it.
Fellow Death and Taxers! I'm buying the Eldrazi Death and Taxes deck tonight on MTGO and then building the paper version soon after. After watching Frank Lepore and Deathandcatmix play this deck, I've fallen for it. All the interactions and creatures just speak to me. Anyway, I think this version of the deck can make waves in the new Modern. Hopefully, I'll hit at least two leagues this week and I'll post my results.
It's pretty much a stock list from what I've seen but this is the decklist I'll be starting with. Any suggestions?
I'm waiting to see the results of a PPTQ where a guy took down the tournament with G/r Eldrazi deck. As soon as I get the decklist I"ll post it here. I think this is a good place to start for a non-Tron version of the deck.
So...guess no one has been on here in a while. Anyway, figure I post this here. A G/R Eldrazi came in 13th in the SCG Modern Classic. This is first Top 16 for the post ban Eldrazi decks.
Wotc has already said they are working on version of the Magic Game that is between Duals and MTGO. More of an intermediate platform for players, who somewhat want competition, but easily accessible for newer players.
EDIT: It was basically the classic version of Tron without red. Don't really care for that build. He lost to UWR Kiki Control. He didn't have enough pressure in game 3 to beat his opponent. I think the Mono-Green Eldrazi build would have gotten him there. That's just my take.
Nice deck! The G/x Tron thread is discussing switching entirely to Eldrazi for their decks. I think you should post this deck in that thread and see what responses and suggestions you will get. Oh, have you thought about switching out Endless One for Tarmagoyf? Just a thought.
I like your build a lot. How has Oblivion Stone worked out so far? Also, what do you think of Spatial Contortion? I'm thinking about adding two to my main and moving two stones to the board.
