I assume a CDA is known because it has a star where the p/t goes, like tarmogoyf or plague rats. what about a card like dread slag, which numerically says 9/9? is that a 9/9 in the graveyard, even when i have cards in my hand?
I looked for this in old posts, but couldn't find it.
Some cards have variable p/t, such as tarmogoyf, dread slag, maro, wayfaring temple, etc... My question is: If I have a card that looks at power/toughness in other zones (such as library of graveyard), which of these cards have p/t that is affected by the game state? is dread slag 9/9 in the graveyard, or is it 5/5 if i have a card in my hand? is a tarmogoyf 4/5, or 0/1?
they announced that they don't want land that deals damage just for mana, so i don't see the brushland cycle coming back. (because wizards NEVER announces something and then contradicts themselves later. that just does not happen). if they do print a nimbus maze cycle, they will probably also print things with double mana costs, just to make things more difficult for us.
it's a bad card by itself, but if all your creatures have shroud, then it's less bad. it's the kind of card you build an entire deck around, and then it becomes w really good card.
in my box i got 3 boros charms, 2 truefire paladin (one foil) and at least 6 skullcracks. I think it's an uneven distribution, because it's supposed to be random, and so sometimes you get a lot of one thing and very little of another thing.

If you control more than one Infinite Reflection, you can apply those copy effects in any order. Creatures you control will enter the battlefield as a copy of the one whose copy effect you apply last.
It's all a matter of opinion. For example, I don't like the flavour on the majority of the cards, the mechanics are swingy and boring, and the majority of cards are extremely weak. Like nearly Masques-weak.
In my opinion.
They do seem weak, but I noticed that I feel the same way about most spoiled sets, and then when I start actually playing with the cards, they're more powerful and faster than I previously thought.
But I usually only use like 10% of an expansion's cards anyway...
I still don't get the point of making a third set of a block so much different than the first two. I think Maro or somebody once said they wanted to keep blocks more similar to each other, so the third set can further explore mechanics from the first two. But now they're doing the opposite. Even if the storyline needs to change, it would still be nice to have a third set that's playable with the first two. Or make a fourth set like eventide.

that gave me a sad
in my prerelease, out of 6 packs i opened 3 centaur healers
If both infinite reflections trigger, do both titan abilities trigger?
If I have infinite reflection on a runeclaw bear, and i summon a phantasmal bear as a copy of runeclaw bear, can i target it without killing it?
I don't remember signets ever being too powerful. I think they just said that as a way of indicating that they weren't being reprinted.
