Whip of Erebos can only be activated at Sorcery speed.
But if they had an instant speed reanimate of some kind, then yes, you can put multiple effects on the stack. So you could still go infinite even in response to their destroy trigger.
I don't have anger issues at all when it comes to MTG, but this is the scummiest thing I've done. I was tied 1-1 at a pretty large Sealed PPTQ and it was a win-and-in for top 8. I won game 1 by curving out and hitting all my bombs, game 2 was a good draw but I got curb stomped. After game 2, you know that feeling where you probably aren't going to win because your sealed deck just isn't as good as theirs? That hit me like a ton of bricks.
I'm going to preface this by saying I did NOT do what you guys are thinking I did. So we're shuffling up for game 3, and I came to the realization that I wasn't winning that game. Looking for any out I could, I counted his deck. 39 cards. Judge called, game loss issued, and I top 8'd a large PPTQ. Ended up getting second. While, under the rules I was entitled to the win due to his deck being at 39 cards, afterwards even my friends were like "Why'd you count his deck?" and "Did you take one of his cards?" I DID NOT remove a card from his deck, but even still it felt SO scummy and I regret it even to this day.
A lot of higher end. 4x Cradle, 3x Trop, 4x Volc, 4x Tundra, 1x Sea, other duals, Foil Fetches, etc. I'm gonna be putting together a list either tomorrow or Thursday.
I have a fairly substantial (5k+) collection I'm looking to get rid of, just lost that spark of the game and would rather have the cash. In this board experience, how much do expensive collections tend to fetch? TCG Low -10%? TCG Low -20%? Any help on the issue would be greatly appreciated!

For a Control shell, how viable is splashing red for the Crackling Doom splash? It seems like we lack a solid instant speed removal spell and I think Doom may be that solution, shares two of the 3 colors and can be fetched off a Foothills (B/R dual)
I think the problem that most of us have with Jared is that AT BEST, the shuffling is suspect. Even if he can't see the bottom card, why even shuffle in a manner that can be misconstrued as stacking? Give it 2-3 mashes, cut in half and give it back, there's nothing difficult about this. To make it worse, in the video evidence he looks down sometimes. Suspect shuffling has no place in MTG, it isn't difficult to shuffle in a manner that leaves no doubt that you were honest. This case could go either way and I won't be surprised either way.
So now rumors swirling about Jared Boettcher and if he is intentionally sliding cards to the top... This is getting out of hand quickly. One instance of cheating is acceptable but if it comes out that multiple top-level pros are cheating this is going to be terrible for the game...
Its hard to see but the announcers note that he rushed into the Swiftspear resolution, which may have happened. Unfortunately he telegraphed a Stoke the Flames by rushing, forcing the rewind and Humphries obvious response. Was partially Murphies fault, should ask for resolution of the Swiftspear before moving forward, especially in the finals.
For the sake of the game, I hope his punishment is swift and severe. The game loses credibility when those who organize events like this don't take a hard line on cheating of this magnitude. He Final'd TWO events, probably using the same methods of cheating for both. It should not be acceptable at any level, FNM or SCG Open, and a lifetime ban is hopefully on the table to set an example for those who would attempt to cheat.
Its great for the mirror as well. Making your Rhinos and Rocs able to get through your opponents creatures is very relevant. Too durdly for agro matchups and burn matchups though.
The Erases came in once against W/R burn for the Banishing Lights and Chained to the Rocks. Keranos is only a 1-2 of in most lists anyways and Erase is a better hedge against Jeskai Combo than Deicide. They were mostly for Jeskai Combo (which the local meta was raving about after Lee Shi Tian top'd with it) but I never played against one.

Same reason why Stoke the Flames is so good with Jeskai Ascendancy right now.
