At rare these lands should be basic land types as well. The ETB tapped is too restrictive without something that puts it over the top. Scry doesn't do that. Definitely feels uncommon to me. Waste of rare spots IMO.
we can activate him if he's on the yard... sounds like dredge to me.
Yeah I thought that too. Seems like an interesting replacement for Dread Return (-zombify effect). Good with Bridge from Below. Requires dredge testing.
Ok. The Finks half of the combo is beaten by Splinter Twin, Kiki Pod, and Melira Pod. Do those see play?
So it doesn't beat a couple of decks in modern. Splinter Twin, Kiki Pod, Melira Pod and Poison. That's what sideboards are for. Think of all the matchups that getting the infinite life combo would win. Jund, Bogle, Valakut.. pretty much everything else. No deck in the format has 100% good matchups. Its a one of in Pod to give it more reach, that all I was sayin'.
This card pretty much reads: 2UB Sorcery
Opponent discards two cards you draw two cards. Play this only if opponent controls a non shroud / hexproof creature.
Not bad in control matchup.
If I attach Illusionist's Bracers to Fatestitcher. Can't I use the copy of the activated ability to untap Fatestitcher, because the copy was created by the bracers and not the fatestitcher? Meaning the copy can target the fatestitcher but not the original activated ability. Is there a rules judge here?
Rules Question: Can I exile Obzedat with his ability before Footsteps of the Goryo and Goryo's Vengeance's end step triggered abilities resolve??? Need this answered before I build a deck based around it.
Seems broken with Goryo's Vengeance & Footsteps of the Goryo. Am I reading it wrong or does Obzedat's second ability completely negate the downside of both these cards? Seven damage turn two with a 5/5 body that sticks around isn't something to scoff at.
the excessive use of fetchlands makes ob nixilis an INSANE win-con. you are never sad to draw 2 of them as if one sticks, it either gets killed or you win, and the other is great backup in case the first dies. (hitting 2 off warp world just makes u win, end of story)
The oracle also has crazy good synnergy with fetches, allowing you to hit a land on your library most of the time.
The deck has performed quite well for me (i'm estimating here) probably about a 9-2-0 reccord or something like that. if anyone does some legitimate testing or has ideas for the list, i'd love to hear about it thanks
Cards that i'm unsure of:
-Dragon Broodmother (just added him recently, still testing, could go for broodmate)
-4th Commander
-4th hellkite?
-kelidostones (they have been good tho)
-1 more or less fetchlands (i like how it is now though)
P.S. this marks my first MTGS post EVAR!!!
i think Rampaging Baloths would be better than Dragon Broodmother.
Also, i think your deck needs a faster way to draw Warp World. Is there a creature that lets you draw cards quickly other than mulldrifter now-a-days? my mind is drawing a blank.
How do Lotus Cobra and Warp World interact?
Does the cobra put into play from warp world get mana from the lands that are put into play at the same time?
Text says "Remove it from the game at end of turn or if it would leave play". So regardless due to what reason it leaves play (i.e. due to momentary blink), you have to remove it.
Doesn't momentary blink then return it from the RFG zone?
