What if I don't care about extra security?

What happens?
I think people leaving the format is actually a positive thing. Too many people belong to the group that never discusses anything and at best they say they want "a casual edh game" (which means nothing). The less we have those the better.
I just don't see much point in trying to abuse adapt when you could just put counters normally.
Sanguine Sacrament is the win con.
I haven't played without a banlist but I have talked to people before playing and it often led to a better experience for everyone. When I don't it doesn't.
I doubt that removing the ban list would create more problems. Guns don't kill people you know.
Sure but there are also a lot of cards outside of the banlist that are problematic and some cards are only problematic in certain decks, metas, people, etc.
You can't police everything so why not let anarchy rein?
Oops you said no extra turns.
I think you should try them tho. Extra turns are kinda obnoxious when you just try to chain them together but otherwise I think they are fine. I run beacon coupled with some token producers like murmuring mystic.

I've been using xmage almost a year and my experience has been mostly positive. I think xmage has much better rules enforcement than your average paper edh game. Most of bugs are caused by people with bad internet connection. Xmage really doesn't like when people disconnect mid game. I very rarely find actual rules bugs. I guess it looks kinda ugly but it's not like untap.is is much better. Color scheme is just light blue/white instead of grey.
When I want to play mtg online I'm looking for convenience. With rules automation I can play really fast. I've played best of three matches under 5 mins and not long time ago I finished a 10 person edh game roughly in 1 hour (host also asked people to bring stax decks). If every person has to do everything games are going to last much longer and rules mistakes are bound to happen.
