I don't understand the Professional Competitve side of Magic and it's qualifying system... so.. I'm gonna be that n00b and ask, How are these Distributed? To whom?
Any one who plays in a World Magic Cup Qualifier receives one of these just for participating. To Qualify, you need to have I believe 500 Planeswalker Points in the last year to participate.
So it looks like Inkmoth Nexus is the next WMCQ promo. There is a photo on the Facebook High End Group. Apparently it was in a regular booster pack of Kaladesh (which has happened before with promos being in the wrong packs).
(Looks like i got Sarnathed as there was a thread already in the main page, i swear i checked)
Also worth noting for some of the Theros block they changed from an embossed foil stamp to actually just digitally printing on the card, so it's in the actual art file for the card and is just printed like a normal card with it being part of the art.
That is some sexy art, to bad the card is nigh unplayable outside of standard. I kinda wish the FMN art were for cards with some eternal format playability. (And I don't even play them!)
I've had R_E cancel and refund items when they jumped in price multiple times.
Last time was with Coursers when they jumped ~7-8 in a week shortly after they were released. He had a totally reasonable explanation as he was dealing with a family emergency thing for a week and hadn't touched his site. I understood, even thought i would have preferred if he had honoured it as i have ordered from him going back to Future Sight, i'm a long time customer who wasn't trying to scam him or spec on them, i legit wanted them and at the time i placed the order they were at a fair price, they spiked while he was away.
That was pretty extraneous circumstances, and while unfortunate it was somewhat understandable. It won't stop me from ordering from him again, but it was unfortunate and will make me think twice about ordering anything that is really hot as opposed to just stable things, but that's hard to predict.
Yeah but delver has been Tier 1 in Legacy since it was printed and that has never changed, and yet the price for foils was about $5 for 2.5 years, even when it was seeing heavy play in Standard.
You asked me to not troll (not my intention) so i posted something more constructive and you think i'm insulting you now.
My only point was that bad and poorly thought out advice shouldn't just be thrown around thinking it's a good thing, especially when you are giving financial advice, and your list was self admittedly sketchy.
Whatever, lets move on.
Anyone have any idea why Delver foils have spiked recently? I think it was way too low for way too long, but a 14$ jump is pretty crazy was it for any particular reason?
Here is the pic from the facebook group. Same art, just foiled. (pic as attachment pending mod approval)

This was timeshifted, there have been foils for over a decade.
Well Path was never an FNM promo...
Also Hoardling Outburst, Stoke the Flames and Bile Blight are bad cards now? What?

Wait what? Isn't that EXACTLY what PTQ's already were?
