"God, I wish I understood this, but for some reason there is something about taquitos that confuses the **** out of people, and that makes me so freaking angry."
.........wtf. Just.... wtf.
That is all.

But you know what's better? Blue. And yeah, maybe that's always been the case, but I've always been miserable with blue. And now it's definitely the best color in Standard. There is no doubt in my mind. I hate that.
So... write more? That'd be great.
Check the EDH deck construction page. Also, their forums. It was announced just today.
Neither sees play in my meta really. Thespian's Stage helps a great deal here, as does Crucible of Worlds. Also, if you run it as a spell and not as a land (like I do for Maze of Ith), it's not actually a tempo hit. It's a late-game play.
I'd be willing to entertain it. I might proxy one up and give it a shot for awhile.
Man, if I had a Depths or the money to buy one, I'd run it here in a heartbeat! I love it and it'd be pretty good I think. Juwdah might have tried it though.
I don't actually like it in Voltron lists, because of the shroud. Getting "Greaves-locked" with the Cloak just sucks and can actively hinder a Voltron game plan.
Fun card though. I generally like the Cloak. It feels EDH-y to me.
I've got a short real-life story in that book! It's awesome, check it out! (Pg. 46)
Sorry, felt like I should shill it a little bit. It's my second published writing, so I'm pretty happy right now.
Sounds like it's still too powerful. I mean, you can tutor for it with Demonic Tutor. RC messed up.
Totally. Ban Windriddle Palace.
Seems legit. Pretty good too. Play their creatures and give them infect! Let your opponent's battlecruiser decks ruin them! Hah!
Couldn't resist, sorry man.
But seriously, Slobad's a hell of a general. People look at him and instantly dismiss the cute little 1/2 goblin. Later on, when Obliterates are flying around and I've got a rich full board thanks to Slobad, he stops being so cutesy and becomes more beastly. Very fun deck, give it a shot.
1. Don't you mean Skittles instead of Mikaeus? After all, it's the only way to play infect.
2. Slobad is pretty legit for mono-red. He's a fun guy to play with.
That's unusual. They're pretty damn good normally. Check your order slip that they put in the package. If it says Caller of Beasts, call them and they'll fix it ASAP. They got my order wrong once and they took care of it (they sent me a 9th Ed Death Pits of Rath, I'd ordered a Tempest one, I let 'em know, and a Tempest Death Pits showed up within 24 hours; I didn't even ask for one, they just said they'd take care of it and sent me the right card for free).
I know people like to hate SCG, but dammit, they're professionals and normally behave like it. If they ****ed up, they'll fix it. It's how you run a good business and they know it.
Eh, I often find that it's only meh. It dies rapidly, doesn't often reduce Kozzy's cost, and generally lets me play into a board wipe. Now, the thing it *does* do is it is excellent to cast off of Kozilek. At that point, I have my mana up and running, and it lets me use Kozilek's card advantage to explode in a big burst. For that, Anvil has been excellent.
I keep telling Juwdah that, but he still is iffy. Convince him!
The list is here (don't watch the match video, it's not very good and have waaaay too many misplays for me to endorse; also I'm pretty sure that David McDarby is cheating in each game he plays, but whatever). The list is fun and very different though, and the deck tech isn't terrible. Give it a shot, if you want something really different that will make everyone scratch their heads when you play it.
Hah! Glad to know Obama's anti-Death Star. The system works, people!
