Two totally different decks. Humans doesn't run Bloodraid Elf, neither burn spells... Those decks share nothing in common, even if they both run some of the same cards. And by the way, this deck stomps 5C Humans all day. And it just won a 150 players event (8 round swiss + Top 8 ) near my hood, beating Jund, UX Control, Tron, Infect and various combo decks all day long.
I didn't say Humans anywhere. I was also replying to the post right above mine, with the decklist from the GP that has 4 colors and Blood Moon.
I'm actually down to 1 Coast and using 1 Island. 2nd basic can help a lot when you're facing decks with Path. The other land you can try out Mana Confluence/City of Brass.
Well, looks like there are lots and lots of Humans coming with the Dominaria leak.
Some of them might have some room in our deck. Is it crazy to consider running a singleton Naban, Dean of Iteration? If I am understanding correctly, having this on the battlefield would allow Meddling Mage to name TWO spells. Reflector Mage would bounce TWO creatures. And Champion and Lieutenant would each get two counters when any one of these three Wizard creatures hits the battlefield.
It's probably too situational with only 7-8 payoff Wizards in the main, but if it did hit it looks like a huge swing, to me.
Meddling Mage's ability is not triggered, so it is unnafected by this wizard dude.
The best human shown in that leak is the 1 mana 2/1 that give indestructible when sac'd.
2-0 vs Affinity
Lynx + removals gets G1 and Nacatl + Lynx + removals get G2
2-0 vs BG Tron
Early pressure and some burn on G1, Molten Rain before he could assemble Tron, then he is on 3 life and has to O-Stone my attackers. I had Mantis Rider and Nacatl in hand, played Nacatl and pass. He plays another Stone that he cracks when I attack. I pass, he plays Wurmcoil and Rider gets him.
2-1 vs Burn
Lost G1 because I went too careful on life with lands never getting blue, so I got an uncastable Rider in hand for 2 turns and he won at 7 life while I was holding Rider and Boros Charm. Got G2 with heavy aggro and G3 he stumbled on lands while I had 2 Finks and 3 Helixes. Stabilzied the board then got aggro with BBEs and Goyfs.
ID with GW Company on the 4th round, but we played and I lost 2-1.
Sideboard was just thrown togheter, but funny thing is that I sided in 4 Revelry match 1, 4 Rains on match 2, 3 Finks on match 3 and 4 Souls on match 4.
Shana seems neat. She's legendary and hard to kill, so maybe 1 or 2 maindeck only?
I like how we can turn into a full aggro deck with some of these cards if we want (and the meta forces us to do so). We bring back Mayor, use that 3 drop lord and let the disruptive humans for the sideboard. Don't know if that would be better, but it sure seems fun
Dauntless Bodyguard
W
Creature — Human Knight
2/1
As Dauntless Bodyguard enters the battlefield, choose another creature you control.
Sacrifice Dauntless Bodyguard: The chosen creature gains indestructible until end of turn.
• Dauntless Bodyguard's first ability isn't a triggered ability and doesn't use the stack. Players can't respond to your choice of which creature it's protecting.
• If Dauntless Bodyguard enters the battlefield at the same time as another creature, that creature can't be chosen for its ability.
• If the chosen creature leaves the battlefield, you can't choose a new creature for Dauntless Bodyguard to protect. If you activate its last ability in this case, no creature gains indestructible.

Check Dominaria´s Release notes, tons of humans, many are wizards tho but still some sweet new cards
In legacy I played one due to back to basics and price of progress. In modern there is only path and blood moon (and pain) so I still think theres really no reason to run it. I did in really red decks like blitz

Yeah, that's for sure.
Maybe there's something that's not on the release notes. I think there's only half the set there.
Don't know if she makes the cut now.
The 1 mana 2/1 guy is a lot better than her

This is REALLY good, I want to fit 4 in the deck.
There is Field of Ruin that can cut us out of red
