If your biggest worry is that some of your money is going towards government services you might not benefit from, your life is pretty okay. The worries that would result from a total lack of government services are much larger by comparison.
The Senate can reject his choice, though. They don't usually do it, but this is a special case.

A good book would be a great gift. Paperback books are really cheap for the amount of enjoyment that can be derived from them, so they're really cost-effective. A book can also be a personal gift since it gives you a chance to show how well you know her tastes.
To tie in with the numbers, you could go for a book with one of those numbers in the title, though that might limit your choices.
Heck, due to the sheer size of the universe it's quite possible that there's another person exactly like you out somewhere right now, and that there have been thousands or even millions of beings exactly like you in the past.
Plus, not all candidates can raise that much money. Even if McCain didn't take public funding he wouldn't have been able to raise as much as Obama did.

EDIT: Looking at updated numbers, Obama has taken a tiny lead over McCain in Indiana with 94% of the precincts reporting. McCain has also taken a tiny lead in North Carolina.
EDIT2: CNN now has Obama at 297 electoral votes, which doesn't count states that are "still contested" - Florida, North Carolina, Indiana, Colorado) But DOES count California, Washington, Oregon and Hawaii based off of exit polls.
