I don't want to die...I want to diseappear in a big bang, like Bilbo in LOTR, except that I would actually diseappear. And it would naturally be on my 110th birthday.
This is a great deck for introducing new players to the game. It's cheap to build, can actually win, and has a rather simple concept (beating down with pumped green guys).
Especially with the books you have, it's hard to get broken characters at such a low level. There are infinite numbers of broken character combinations, but most require a lot of levels or money. What level will your campaign go to?
But, if you want to make your DM really angry, make a sorceror who gets charm person as a first level spell. Then, just charm people such as unfriendly orcs or town guards to do your fighting for you! At first level, you can have as many as three charmed "friends" at one time. As you level up, get charm monster, dominate person and dominate monster as well. At 6th level, get the "Leadership" feat which lets you get a cohort to fight for you and eventually you get a horde of 1st level followers to swarm the enemy.
But, then again, a lot of people are expecting that, so it wouldn't exactly be a surprise.
So an actual "surprise" involving Akroma would involve A) her NOT being reprinted, or B) her card is changed somehow, or C) she is just reprinted normally and MaRo somehow thinks it would be a surprise to people, even after the You Decide! competition.
There might be other possibilities, but that's all I can think of now.
Sounds good to me. It works well with that thing Wizards is doing to connect the blocks together, sort of like a preview of whatever the next block is. Maybe, once we get more info on Future Sight, we'll get some clues about the following block...
Kingdom Hearts II, Suikoden Tactics, Advance Wars Dual Strike, Fire Emblem, Lost Magic, and a bunch of old emulated games.
