so lets say i have a ringbearer and my opponent has a ringbearer and i want to take control of it. what happens ?
the rules state, that you can have only one emblem and one ringbearer.
how do i interpret it ?
i cant gain control, since i am forbidden to have another ringbearer ?
will it get sacrificed like with the legend rule ?
will i have to get to decide who will keep being a ringbearer and who loses it ?
if i can get control and the ringbearer wont count as my ringbearer, what happens if my opponent gets control back of the ringbearer ?
i thought stores were supposed to receive "gift packs" at the end of january.
since i see nothn online for sale, i wonder if stores actually got the free packs or if wizards canceled them or if they just failed to deliver on time
Ob Nixilis Reignited is a 30 cent card. she is just a variation of him. yes, to the draw you get to proliferate, but unless it is a deck that uses this ability, it is just +1 loyality.
the minus 2 gives ur opponent mana instead of destroying it. yes it can handle indestructable, but thats nishe.
and ultimates that take ages dont count for me.
maybe she is not a 30 cent walker. but more than 1-2€ will also be overpriced.
and yet all revealed completed walkers are not worth a pack. that is so disappointing. you pull a mythic, you pull a walker, and it is trash.
was actually really looking forward to this set, yet it seems to have so many bad cards. and usually they start spoilers with the good ones. is it really just getting worse from now on ?
or am i to critical with these walkers ?

lukka is a worse garruk
and in both cases u r supposed to pay 2 life or lose a turn ? ... come on
kicker is an additional cost, right ?
so can powerstone token (from Karn, Living Legacy) be used to pay for the kicker or does it still count into the casting of a colored spell ?

So Mistcutter Hydra was a cent rare... Why is this mythic ? Cause of flying ?
I think it should have had atleast a 1/1 body. Than it would allways be a nice play on curve, no matter which turn. That would make it worthy of being mythic in my opinion
Flying is a big game, and generally makes this better than mistcutter. It's tough to cost in this modern era of extreme creature p/t power creep, but if it had base 1/1 it would always be the most efficient possible creature at each point in the curve and that was probably too much for wotc. Like they didn't want it to push out all red 2-3 drops, basically. I don't even know if it necessarily would, but it feels like it could. And it's a card they WANT to be cast for a big X, because a 2/2 version of this just doesn't really make sense. They'd rather you cast if for something big to make a big monster and when it's inefficient as a little guy, that's more likely.

everyone who falls for the "inflation" reason should not be allowed to purchase anything
while it is true that paper prices have risen during the corona times, they did not went up by that much. also they are still cheap compared to what wizards asks for. if booster were like 2 - 2,5$ (customer price) i would say 10% is reasonable. but not like this. we have booster prices ranging from 4$-75$ nowadays... dont give me that inflation BS (sorry for the language) when every booster has nearly the same amount of cards.
printing paper and selling it, is still profitable even under the current inflation circumstances. wizards just choses to charge more. and remember, we had a price increase already not to long ago.
and what about Ancestral Vision ? can i get a suspended copy (suspend is no alternate cost, is it?) or can i play it for free or wont i be able to cast the copy `?

as far as I know, one an ability starts to resolve, it resolves completly and you cant react in between. is that correct ? if not, please explain.
