Grats man, I like the list. Just out of curiosity, how has lightning helix performed for you over chain lightning? It seems good to have at least 4 sorceries for goyf pumping, but you are the one winning money so what do I know :P. Also, how much storm do you see at these events?
I haven't played against Storm in a very long time.
Lightning Helix is very good, it allows the deck to race in situations where it shouldn't be able to. I generally don't care about pumping goyf with Sorcery as my opponent does that for me.
If I wanted to play zoo in todays legacy meta game (I own all the cards) what list should I be running, or samples, and what should I be on the look out for? Theres a bit of a legacy thing happening around here, and Id like to jump back into it for a second from modern (since modern is played in savannah, and legacy is not.)
I feel like my list is spot on, I've cashed the last 3 SCG Opens I played. Most recently taking 24th at SCG Columbus going 6-2-1.
Anyone tried this guy? Hes very close to the mongoose in legacy.
Losing your land to get a creature that dies to almost every other creature in the format is not very good in a deck that hardly runs any land to begin with.
Is there a link for the 2012's in all states we can view?
Not yet, they haven't even officially announced it yet. Some of the T.O.'s have created events on Facebook for it is why people are finding out about it now.
Once the site goes active I'll link it.
It looks like the 2012's will be held on October 13th. A T.O. jumped the gun and posted their event a little early.
This is all the info I have at this time, and this thread will be updated as info becomes available.

That is very true. I could easily hit Ohio then the Pennsylvania one the next day, and probably will as I live right in between them.

Apparently there are at least a few places running States on October 14th instead of October 13th.
Yes, anyone who is allowed to play in a sanctioned magic the gathering tournament may play.
States is always just a 1 day tournament. It will only be on Saturday, October 13th.
Yeah, but I can't edit it now. I thought about it almost immediately after I posted it.
