It's the end of spoiler season, so that means Lucky Paper is releasing our prospective Cube community survey for ZNR. You can see an example of how this data is used from previous surveys. We already have a record number of responses, over 150 cube designers!
The survey is going to be open for the next week, so we need your responses by Sept 22nd to be included in the article. If you’d like to be notified before the survey closes, when the article is published, or about future community surveys, sign up for our newsletter on our homepage.
It's the end of spoiler season, so that means Lucky Paper is releasing our prospective Cube community survey for M21! We have a brand new survey form on site. The goal is to gather lists from designers of all stripes about the cards they're interested in from M21. You can see an example of how this data is used from previous surveys. Last time we had over 100 designers that participated!
The survey is going to be open for the next two weeks, so we need your responses by July 6th to be included in the article. If you’d like to be notified before the survey closes, when the article is published, or about future community surveys, sign up for our newsletter on our homepage.
Lots of great conversation in this thread! We're running a Community Survey designed to see what Cube designers are testing from Ikoria/C20. We did this last set release and summarized the results in an article here - Theros, Beyond Death Community Prospective.
Spoiler season is over, so we're releasing our Ikoria and Commander 2020 Cube Community Survey! The goal of this is to get input from cubers of different backgrounds and design goals, to see what they think about these new sets. The results will be summarized in an article, and as an example here is the article for Theros, Beyond Death
We're particularly interested in getting input from Peasant and Pauper cubers, as we feel most Cube content is skewed towards powered/unpowered cubes. So please take a second to fill out the survey!

Thanks so much to everyone that responded! Across all the various niches of the Cube community, we managed to get 84 responses. You can find the finished article here!
Some really interesting findings come out. The results make me want to test Thassa, Deep Dwelling.
Wow, I never saw the first vote, but the article layout and graphics are incredible! I didn't test a lot of cards from this newest set unfortunately, but I'll post what cards I have playtested
Thanks! We're going to be wrapping up survey collection soon, so if you haven't submitted your testing/include list yet please do! We're looking at ~60 Cubers that shared with us.
I'm currently collecting how people in the cube community feel about Theros Beyond Death, and I would be remiss to miss out on MTGSalvation as a place to gather data! I did the same thing for Throne of Eldraine, and you can see the results of that data collection here - Throne of Eldraine Community Testing. Many of the members of the community here participated!
Cube lists of all shapes and sizes are welcome! You can either fill out this survey or post your testing list below, along with card rankings. For card rankings, a rank of 1 means that you think the card is unlikely to make it through testing or you're unexcited about testing it. A rank of 2 means that you're medium on the card, but you think it has a decent shot of making it through testing. A rank of 3 means that the card is a windmill slam inclusion in your list. Feel free to use fractional rankings (ie 2.5).
I'm going around to various parts of the cubing community and collecting info on what people are testing from ELD -- wanted to make sure I didn't miss MTGS. I know lots of people have already posted, but it would also be great to learn how people think the cards themselves will test. I've been operating with a 1 - 3 scale: 1 being not sure it will make it through testing, 2 being pretty medium on it but it has a decent shot, and 3 being a strong inclusion you think is very likely to make it through testing. If you've already posted, feel free to pm me your rankings or edit your original post! Here's my testing list:
Venerable Knight (3)
Charming Prince (2)
Giant Killer (1)
Brazen Borrower (3)
Witching Well (2)
Murderous Knight (3)
Rankle, Master of Pranks (2)
Order of Midnight (2)
Embereth Shieldbreaker (3)
Robber of the Rich (3)
Bonecrusher Giant (3)
Gilded Goose (1)
Once Upon a Time (3)
Questing Beast (3)
Been cubing with Serra for quite a while now, and I have to say that while she’s quite good, I’ve rarely had the emblem be relevant. Aggressive decks pressure you too fast for you to spend 4 mana and not affect the board, and control decks can usually answer the emblem anyway. In one case, I was just decked by an opponent that couldn’t answer the emblem.
Good card and a cube staple, but not oppressive by any means (unless your cube is quite slow).
