I was playing on MWS the other day when the following situation came up, and while we finished the game, I'm still curious.
I had a Llanowar Elves equipped with a Pointy Fork, and I attacked with it. In responce, my opponent sacced his Seal of Fire to deal it 2 damage. In responce, I pumped my elfy with the Fork. Ok, he took the damage, blah blah blah. The real question came up at the end of my turn. He said that the elf would die at the EOT because the Jitte effect would wear off before the damage would. There was no huge long arguement or anything, I just removed another counter and we were on our way. But I want to know if it really worked that way.
Well, I've just started looking at these boards today, and I must say, I like 'em. I've been playing Magic VERY casually for about 4 years, and now I'm getting into more serious stuff. So, nice to meet you all :).

Thanks in advance,
