how do we handle big creature decks, specifically eldrazi. i went 3-1 tonight at fnm losing only to a weird totally colorless eldrazi list. the smaller ones like matter reshaper or even oblivion sower were fine enough, but once they got enough for ulamog/kozilek i kinda just fell apart.
i believe you are correct. the displacer exiles spell queller, when queller leaves you get your tracker, then queller enters and has to target CoCo. then you get this awkward scenario where if queller dies they CoCo for free. weird
I feel like I am blind; I am not seeing how to do these things...
there i technically no avatar per se, but the answer to both questions are in the same spot. in the deck editor you can press X to customize your deck. it'll allow you to change the avatar and background of your deck then you'll be able to name it after picking them.
so i found a way to do solo battles, but it's a bit tedious. i heard that if you copied a deck that it would work. however, if you copy with the copy function in game (by pressing 'menu' on XB1)it won't work, but if you make a new deck and and just put the same cards in by hand it works. i tested it with my mono-W weenie deck and confirmed it. i haven't tried it with other decks yet though, so i'm not sure how reliable this "fix" is.
i've had a few games where disciple of the ring would not work. it takes my mana and an instant/sorcery, but does nothing. guess i'm removing it until it ets fixed
So i randomly decide to hop into 2HG after adjusting some decks and i notice that it now gives 30G per win. the only real downside i guess is that you can't go in with a friend and still get gold. it's something though.
i've been experiencing the same solo battle bug where my basics don't load in. between this and and the long versus battle times, i've barely gotten a chance to even touch the new cards at all.
been playing a 4-color converge allies deck recently and it's been quite fun. the one card i'm kinda meh on is munda, ambush leader. i've found that playing him turn 4 is actually pretty bad unless you already have a bunch of lands in hand. however, late game he's nuts with all the pseudo-scry
i will be watching this thread as i'm currently working on something similar. with all the exile effects i feel blight herder is too good to ignore. i'll probably post a list once i have something more definitive.
for lands, i think spawning bed is better than foundry of the consuls just since it makes 3 guys. however the thopters fly though, so i guess it's up to personal preference. either way i think whichever you go with they should be a 4-of. also get more corrupted crossroads if you can, it does basically everything you want.
just a quick look at the deck and i see you have basically nothing to do the first 3-4 turns other than a hangarback walker. idk if they're good enough, but how about adding some amount of hedron crawleror eldrazi mimic? i'd also take out the matter reshaper since they cant put anything into play other than lands or more reshapers.
not sure where it would go, but i highly recommend reality smasher. it's hasty with some pseudo-protection so it can smash pretty well
after just taking a quick look, i'd recommend putting any of the fetchlands in that you can. they help a lot with your landfall and for whenever titania comes out. it's also a bit expensive, but i'd try a crucible of worlds for the above reasons and to reuse your utility lands
