Dumbledore was said to have a "gleam of triumph" in his eyes when told that Voldemort had restored his body using Harry's blood, at the end of Goblet of Fire. Rowling has confirmed that this is "still enormously significant".
I think it means that using Harrys blood Dumbledore can be brought back to life.
I saw the movie when it came out but didn't feel like posting anything. Now I do.
dimir_impersonator is right that the movie is riddled with plot holes and pointless characters, but who really cares? The movie is supposed to be about lighthearted fun coupled with giant robots breaking eachother with a plot that you don't actually have to pay attention to to enjoy yourself. The movie really didn't feel fun enough to me, while the fights where more or less giant metal frames running into eachother. It had some great action sequences, and the scene where the Autobots where waiting outside while Sam talked to his oblivious parents about calling masturbation "Sam's happy time" was exactly the kind of fun the movie needed. More of that, less terrible attempts at character development, and this could have been a great movie.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed watching the movie. I wanted a movie with giant robots that changed into vehicles(and Scorponok) and crushed eachother, and that's exactly what I got. I just thought that there was LOTS of room for improvement and that Michael Bay crapped all over this movie. Live Free or Die Hard is a better action movie by far, but there really is no substitute for the feeling of watching life-size Trasformers run circles around eachother.
i agree with Mirari
sure it had a few holes in the plot, but did anyone going to this movie expect it to have a deep and enthralling plot? Because i went to watch gaint frickin robots fight to the death and thats what i got!!!
Also am i the only one who thought that it was funny when Optimus said "Put it in my chest" and when optimus is saying that they lost a good freind as he is holding the two halves of Jazz, it felt a little insinscere!!! LOL..... over all good movie
I think that the young Cavs have a decent chance of beating the older Spurs.
The Spurs may be more disiplened , but the Cavs have matured since last year because of last years playoff expereince.
I agree with Monopoman when he said that the Cavs want it more than the Spurs and that they are the "underdog" and I think that will definitly help them.
The Cavs have a pretty good young player in Daniel "Boobie" Gibson and I expect that how much he himself will contribute will determine if the Cavs beat the Spurs.
i was playing a game and i played Cloudchaser Kestrel and made my friends land white, then with Pentarch Paladin (i chose white) i destroyed his land, does this work?
hey, this is my mono white aggro deck and its the pre-con "Hope's Crusaders", but i twekd it and improved it. I just wanted some advice on how to make this deck better for FNM and i also need side board
The Celtics haven't proved anything. All they are to me is a one-star team. I'd even go so far as to say that Toronto is better than them. There will only be one team from the Atlantis Division going to the playoffs, and I think it will be a fight between the Nets and Raptors.
no they are not a won star team
they have extremly talented youth
toronto is not better than them
and Paul Pierce has no ego problems and the Nets are an over rated team
i just want to say that this is how i feel about the east teams that i think will make the playoffs.
(in order from best to worst)
EAST
#1 Cavs - LeBron is pissed from his loss in the post season he will drag his team through the playoffs if he has to, but he does have a good supporting cast so i dought he will because Drew gooden has stepped up along with Hughes
#2 Bulls - With the addition of the 4 time D-Fensive Ben Wallace who has of late begun to show people why the Bulls gave him a 60 million contract, and Hinrick, Ben Gordon, Nocioni, P.J., Loul Deng, i think the Bulls will go far into the post season
#3 Detroit - I would of put them as #1 in East if they still had Big Ben, but still good team and i think they only have a couple playoff runs left in them, if that...
#4 Wizards - They are a really good team with Butler, Jamison, and Arenas, but i think they won't get farther than second round
#5 Orlando - With the outstanding preformance of Jameer Nelson and Dwight Howard i see them being a legit threat in the reg season and in the post season
#6 Celtics - (:p My favorite team:p ) i think that the Celtics have finally gotten a there all their pieces together and alot of the young guys have stepped up like Delonte West, Big Al, Gerald Green and Sebastian Telfair, but they a currently rattled with injury, but when healthy they are great team
#7 Nets - Overrated team the only good players are Kidd (good job on beating Wilt for all-time triple-doubles) and Richardson, and Carter is not that amazing because he is all offense and not enough defense
#8 Heat - To old, they don't have any fire in their stomachs from winning a championship and as its been proven so far D-Wade cant carry the Heat with out Shaq, who will probably retire this year if the heat dont win a championship (which they wont)
