This happened to me, too. Pulled both a Signal the Clans and a Clan Defiance, along with two copies of the gruul guildgate all in my gruul guild pack. Luckily, the judge was sitting right beside me as I opened it.
The guy across from me also got two rares and guildgates in his gruul pack, and my friend had the same thing happen in his golgari pack.
Isn't the wording for madness different now? take Gorgon Recluse for example, and the old Arrogant Wurm. This may be fake. The wording is different than either of these two cards. Either that, or I'm just going crazy......
I was wondering if someone could do DCI foils of Restock, Frenzied Tilling, and Global Ruin. From what I've seen so far in this thread, this should be no problem for you guys. All of the cards so far look great!!
The Paladin Is a Great creature. A solid body, not too high of a cost, and It gives WW the removal it needs to be competitive (hopefully). Is will be a great addition to a number of deck and its just a well desgined card (with great art). The only problem is how bg of an invesnt ment he is. If you could get him into play with some mana open to protect him (via counters or BiL) then he could be worth it. If you can keep him alive until your next upkeep then he will be a house.
Urzas Factory is amazing as well. It only costs 3 more mana then vitu gazi it removes the color requirement of having to play W or G. And it has a great connection to some of the most Iconic Lands in Magic. The art is remincent of the old Urza art. again very well done.
Phthisis-Im on the fence here. Hard casting it is expensive (and color heavy). The Suspend mechanic will allow your oppoant to hopefully get did of his creatures before the big P hits. On the Other side it has to be expensive becasue of how powerful the affect is. In a black basses control deck this could be a great sideboard card to toss at opposing Angels of Dispair, or other fatties. It can take an opponent down quite a large number of pegs. But I thinkg it will end up being in the dollar rare binders without any deck to put it in.
Has anyone considered the possibility that there really only are 301 cards and the reason WotC requested the image removed was because they didn't want people to get upset over a rumor that wasn't true?
