I was looking for a place to talk about the archetype that I currently enjoy quite a bit.
I am still figuring out the flex spot. Nothing is striking me right now. Phyrexian revoker, warping wail, winds of abandon, restoration angel, selfless spirit all do not feel impressive. Maybe walking ballista? What are your thoughts?
Hi,I would be interested to see your sideboard list even if you're not satisfied with it. I'm currently doing fine on mtgo competitive leagues with traditional UG infect and I'm looking for spicy sideboard cards, especially for the jund-grixis matchup where i would like a value card that can take away the game.
@Spiderspace
Hi, I am very interested in knowing more about the deck with which spiderspace did 5-2 in a modern challenge recently. Could you explain the reasoning behind the sideboard and their particular matchup? Thank you for the information.
Has anybody thought about adding some angel of condemnation in the mono white list (at least SB)? It looks like an interesting option, especially for grindy matchup. It could replace restoration angel? What do you think? Was it discussed already?
Congratulations on the top finish! The list looks good, except that I do highly question those Needle Drops and Gitaxian Probe. Also, only a single Atarka's Command? And it's on the sideboard?
Congrats!!!! Burn is back in bussines! Thanks for comming to chat with us in the primer. Sweet to get some direct Q&A with the guys behind a winning deck, especially one a bit off the beaten path.
Im interested in needle drop aswell, I run it Pauper burn but I never considered it as a modern card. What were your experiences with it?
It has preformed better than expected, in this particular tournament we actually picked up 1st, 7th and 11th with the build. I as a burn player am completely sold on the card. One issue that I have run into is the fact that we now get mana flooded more than acceptable, which I am currently working on fixing with a 15 land build.
Hey!
I am really interested to try the list. Do you have any advices regarding matchup and sideboarding?
we were expecting abzan coco decks and other collected company decks, since it was a day or two after the bans we expected people to stay with similar decks to what was doing well under eldrazi reign. so we wanted to hedge our bets against that deck with more anti-life gain effects for those decks. I cut the deflecting palm because it is only relevant against inexperienced players. people can easily play around deflecting palm making the card sit there in your hand for turn upon turns. i would rather have a card that is consistent in what it does rather than a card that is really high variance and dependent upon the experience level of the opponent.
Do you have any sideboarding tips?
I now understand the sideboard choices, but what would you change for these cards. Is needle drop a card that comes out often? or the gitaxian probe(maybe sd out when on the draw) ? These two cards seem important given the land count.

Does anyone have any experience with Mutagenic Growth in burn? Looking at Ross Merriam's list from the SCG Classic http://sales.starcitygames.com//deckdatabase/displaydeck.php?DeckID=101132, I'm wondering when you would board those in. I wouldn't mind trying them out, but I'm not really sure what purpose they serve. It seems like there could be more useful cards in place of the growths, like Anger of the Gods or Kor Firewalker.
You want mutagenic growth against deck with lightning bolt. In the first few turns, it saves a creature, boost monastery swiftspear and deals two damages. It is a huge swing in your favor, especially against UR and UWR decks. It is appropriate mainboard if you expect lots of deck playing bolt, few to average creature decks, and you have wild nacatl. Otherwise, 1-2 in the sb is fine.
I would like to hear about other mtgo player. I don't feel that affinity is well position in the actual mtgo metagame. Since the PT, I have started to lose signficantly more. Don't get me wrong, the eldrazi matchup is in our favor (I won most of my match against them), but other decks seem well-prepared against affinity. Before the PT, i could do 4-1, 3-2 in leagues easily, but now I have difficulty to reach the 3-2. I just want to know if other mtgo players feel the same or if it is only the variance of the deck that strikes me back.
My list is pretty similar to the Frank Karsten's one for the PT.
I just saw this list and was wondering what you think about it. I find the 4x gitaxian probe maindeck really interesting and i'm quite unsure about the sideboard 4x thoughseize, 3x Ghirapur Æther Grid, no basic land in main? If the the deck owner is by any chance reading this, please feel free to explain your choices!
I just wanted to have some advices for the burn-jund matchup. There is a lot of Jund (many variations, but mostly the same) at my LGS. As I see it, Game 1 is a very easy game, but game 2 and 3 get pretty hard. I have a hard time to close the match and am likely to lose it.
I was also wondering how is the matchup against Grishoalbrand? I mean, how do we expect to win? Do we have to wait to see if they screw themselves up or have we any real chances if they start comboing off? I don't see how we can stop machine one it is started.
I tested gifts yestarday and found it to be really synergistic and valuable. It can fetch lands, slaverlock, big threats, anything. It certainly messes with your head though, but even more with your opponents'.
You can avoid snappy and crucible with noxious revival in 1 or 2 copies. It is nice as a gifts target and may be valuable when you need something already in your gy. Moreover, it quite nullifies the value of thoughtseize and other discard spell...
I would also like to get some help to beat infect. I really have a hard time to simply past turn 4 against them. Post sideboard, I main 3 dismember, 1 pithing needle, 1 tectonic edge and 1 fabricate, but this does not seems to be quite enough. I would like your ideas on the matchup.

1 viridian corrupter
1 ichorclaw myr
1 echoing truth
1 apostle's blessing
2 Pulse of murasa
2 Nissa, voice of zendikar
2 Spell pierce
2 Dispel
1 Distortion strike
1 Echoing truth
1 Dissenter's delivrance
1 Monastery siege
1 Unravel the aether
2 Nature's claim
I really like the sideboard. The only one i'm not sure is Monastery siege and the second echoing truth. From you post, i'm interested in trying the sylvan scrying instead of the ichorclaw myr.
Tell me what you think.

Have a good day everyone!
I have two questions. One that may have already be asked and the other is a really subjective one.
The first question is : Against jund-ish deck, do we sideboard out aether vial or not?
The other question is what is your favorite plains to put in the Mono white dnt?
Do you have any sideboarding tips?

Also, why 1-2 grafdigger's cage vs the 1 atarka's command? And why no deflecting palm in the sb?
thanks

Once answered, we can go back to our discussion wild nacatl.
