I personally see "verse" as the way to go. Not only does it give a callback to epic poetry, wandering bards, and tavern songs, it takes about the same space as the word "level."
You guys are great. I definitely agree with the steps template over the modes. Tigerbaron2 and I will definitely work on developing this more; hopefully we'll be sharing more soon!
I think both are great ideas... on the one hand you get a huge online community, but on the other you can play a story entirely your own. Makes me think of KOTOR
This deck, which was originally posted [by myself] on tappedout.net hasn't been getting many comments or suggestions there. Since I know the MTGS community is always helpful, I wanted to hear your thoughts on it.
Sorry guys, I honestly think this is fake. I downloaded a program called MSE (Magic Set Editor) which does allow you to digitally make cards like this. The fact the he can't show the bottom, which if he uses the program would likely say 1/1 (MSE counts the number of cards in your "set"). My other problem is, this looks to be the font used on the "M15 and after" card template, Elesh Norn hasn't been printed after template change, so why does it retain its old symbol? Not to mention the art is zoomed in ALOT.
My judgement sits in this statements: 1. This card, and its original owner, probably sit on a throne of lies.
Now, I don't actually own these yet (which is why it is "idea"), so I have no idea how this would do against more popular decks.
What changes do you suggest? or perhaps this isn't a deck to try and run with?
So the idea of the deck is to "discourage" the opponent. We can discourage attacks (Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs), discourage spellcasting (Eidolon of the Great Revel, Taurean Mauler, Dosan the Falling Leaf, Mindsparker, Witchstalker, Ruric Thar, the Unbowed, etc.), discourage killspells or counters (Avoid Fate, Shunt, etc.)
