Does anyone else have any other good green cards to put in sb after DoT comes out. My meta is so spread. I played last night and there was 10 people including me. The decks were Dregevine, Martyr Proc, Twin, Scapeshift, Podless Pod, American Control with Geist, 2 U/W Control Decks, and a W/B "good stuff" deck. My sb due to meta is going to look like this so far:
2 Volcanic Fallout (Affinity, Tokens, Mirror, and Kor Firewalker with Leyline in play)
3 Blood Moon (Everything but could switch this to Molten Rain instead. People are running more basics now in my meta.)
2 Rest In Peace (Drege, Control, and Abzan)
3 Leyline of Punishment (Hate to say it but this is still the best card against Kor Firewalker)
2 Angel's Grace (Best answer to any "combo" deck)
3 Destructive Revelry. (White Leyline, Twin, and Affinity)
I agree with the part about Zurgo not having haste thus doesn't make the cut at the bare minimum. All the other cards in the "stock" burn deck are much better than it. He isn't better than the other creatures in the deck and all the other spells. Also since he is legendary you can't play multiple copies and would have to hold additional copies in your hand and then it is just a dead card.
This is my current list (3 Revelry are currently wear/tear). I will take out 2 sacred foundry and add 2 stomping grounds. Then take out 1 helix and move the molten rain to sb and add the 4 commands.
I can understand the reason to disagree with me about it getting banned but it pushes the deck out in front of the other decks and gets around sb hate. It is much more than a different skullcrack. The instant land drop I don't see being very impactful but the +1/+1 can save Swiftspear from a bolt or helix and can do an additional 3 damage or prevent the lifegain from helix. It is too much card for 2 mana. If it were 1 colorless more then it would be just good.
@DerRichter I think it is good to have both Skullcrack and Command. Skullcrack is still useful. It gets around spellskite and damage can't be prevented is sometimes a blowout when someone block with pro red creatures.
Ok the new card is busted! I was against splashing green just for Revelry in the SB, but that card is main deckable as a 4 of. This card get around Leyline for 3 damage and stops life gain. You don't have to "skullcrack" yourself if Leyline is out to prevent them from gaining life. Think about it, not even in Magical Merry Christmas Land....
T1. Goblin Guide (2 Damage puts opponent at 18)
T2. Goblin or Swiftspear + Lava Spike or Bolt (7 Damage puts opponent at 11)
T3. Another GG or Swift or Bolt or Spike + Command choosing +1/+1 and 3 damage to opponents (12 Damage / Shake Hands)
Ok there is a new card spoiled that makes Burn busted (reason I am posting this as Burn will be even more popular thus sb or mb needs to be adjusted). The new command "Atarka's Command". This card is insanely busted. It is main deckable and pushes Burn infront of every other deck out there. Some deck were slashing green for Destructive Revelry already. I was against it and didn't think it was worth it but now I am making the switch. It makes Gruul Charm look like dog poop. LOL.
I also thought about adding Thassa as she helps draws and also can make sure your Wurmcoils not get chumped. I would probably take out the 2 Serum Visions for her. I should have put that the 3 games I lost to were a weird cheat Emrakul in deck that I didn't have a good SB established yet (still don't think I do), a burn deck, and the pro tour w/b tokens deck. I should also add with the deck I have beaten a burn deck already with it and beaten a different w/b token deck.
I also am sorry about how I posted the list. I am new and don't know how to do that correctly. I am also on my phone and just copied and pasted it here.
