this card is painfully narrow. It doesn't even work against fetch lands it just makes them better and saves your opponent the trouble of payinga life and sacrificing it.

There seems to be a conscious shift with planeswalker characters over the past few years. Prior to Shadows to my knowledge there were no planesealker characters who were parernts or married. But sincewe have met Tamiyo and Teferi's families as well as Angrath as who was a real missed opportunity cause he was such a dick. I look forward to seeing how Teferi deals with the weight of walking away from his family although I'm sure his daughter will be fine without him being in her fifties and all.

Yep, but I think it's a net positive so far. This is an ok uncommon upshifted to a marginal rare. But we have had several cards that look like they should have been marginal to good rares downshifted to great uncommon.

I have a feeling that curving the other legendary Angel into this one will be backbreaking.

I'm just curious, did that story have any value to anyone who is not familiar with the old stories? Unless you were playing the game and reading the novels back in the Weatherlight era that story was a whole bunch of nothing. What was so special about Gerard and Sisay that she needed their descendents. (not being sarcastic and I'm sure there's probably an answer.)

Well to me it makes me more unnatural and ****ed-up that Tetzimoc has the bodyform of a herbivore.

I think it being a herbivore makes sense other than the use of the word prey. Carnivores kill to eat but some herbivores like hippos just kill cause they have bad attitudes and love to wreck other animals.

I hope that they missed a time rift in the timespiral storyline and that's actually Chandra. Maybe she'll gain a shread of maturity.

This card is crazy good cause unless your opponent plans to win in the next two turns she cannot be ignored. If she can fire off her ultimate those two pirates win the game unless your opponent has 4 creatures. So she must be attacked or the tokens must be removed.

Liliana, God of Ambition! I really enjoyed the symmetry of Liliana's "betrayal" the gatewatch and Bontu's towards her fellow gods. She even justified it in the same way to Chandra 'you know who I am" as Bontu did with Hazoret. Even if Liliana only said it in her mind.

Is it a coincidence that the Gatewatch ahowed up just before the hours began? Or is it possible that their presence alerted Bolas prompting his return? It would help explain why hes doing this now.

I find it coincidental that the Gatewatch showed up just as hours were arriving. I wonder if they caused the hours to come by tripping some kind of Bolas security measure alerting him to come back curbstomp the interlopers take his prize and destroy the evidence of his schemes.
