Mar 26, 2018urweak posted a message on Treasure Cruisin' Pauper SliversYou left out one of the biggest key differences between Poisonous and Infect. Unlike Infect, Poisonous stacks, Rule 702.69b says "If a creature has multiple instances of poisonous, each triggers separately". Because of this, having multiple Virulent Slivers on the battlefield will effectively give all slivers Poisonous 2,3, or a max 4 (baring any Clone effects).Posted in: Articles

I look at it like this, let someone else play the lottery, while you benefit financially from lower secondary market card prices.
From these scans, does one of these cards look fake? I'll hold off on which one it really is until I get some feedback. Also, could this just be an alternative printing or the promo version of the card?
My point about reserved list cards, is that they were reprinted via a loophole, and by today's standards, those reprints are considered a mistake. It's not weird for current policy to align with a new potential policy. IE, they are not eligible for being reprinted today, so they would not be eligible for Modern legality.
Also, a number of the cards you listed are only reprinted in specialty sets like FTV, judge foils or as lottery cards. These specialty, limited run cards should also not be considered.
Anything that falls through the cracks from there, that is too powerful for Modern, just ban it.
This would apply to paper printings only. Also, some of the cards you listed are reserved list cards that were reprinted under a loophole. They would effectively be un-set level cards (silver boarder), and unplayable. This is because they shouldn't have been allowed to be reprinted under currently interpretations of the RL.
This thread is from 2010, it's been necroed many times and will continue to be, simply because of the nature of the thread.
Edit: Also, if anyone is keeping track, it's been necroed at least 6 times.
Actually you can, and that's what I have been doing for almost 9 years now. The whole point of this thread is to speculate on what future shifted cards will be reprinted in coming sets. While also indicating when a future shifted card has been printed with a non-future shifted card frame.
