Auto side out seas v. mono red burn, but seas are AMAZING for keeping burn off of their other colors, especially now that some are running green for Atarka's. Greedier the manabase, the better spreading seas gets.
I'm having a little bit of a problem with aggro (before I threw the nighthawks in anyway)... would whip in the sideboard be a good idea? Without life gain of any kind sometimes things get a little too close for comfort.
I put together this list earlier today and it's fast and incredibly resilient (so many big butts!)
Big Booty:
4 vial
4 assault formation
4 perimeter captain
4 wall of omens
4 sylvan caryatid
4 wall of tanglecord
1 tree of redemption
2 spellskite
4 overgrown battlement
2 axebane guardian
1 emrakul
4 path to exile
2 idyllic tutor
20 Bant lands (not sure of exact combination but including a one of colonnade)
Not sure at all about the sideboard, but I think aggro ramp is definitely the way this deck should go. Part of me wants to go deeper into blue for wall of frost, wall of denial, and bounce (need to find as many ways to protect the enchantment as possible).
Anyway, I think this deck has a lot of promise and it has answers for much of the meta, so I'm excited to see where this can go. Some decks simply don't have answers for this many non bootable creatures.
Opportunities: no way to deal with Karn in Tron. No way to have reliable board wipe recovery. If you can't find your paths or spellskites, twin can combo pretty easily. Sideboard ho!
3 Blackcleave Cliffs
1 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
3 Blood Crypt
6 Swamp
4 Bloodstained Mire
3 Graven Cairns
1 Mountain
Creatures
4 Demigod of Revenge
4 Phyrexian Obliterator
4 Goblin Guide
4 Vampire Nighthawk
4 Bloodghast
3 Inquisition of Kozilek
2 Thoughtseize
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Kolaghan's Command
2 Liliana of the Veil
4 Terminate
3 Rakdos Charm
1 Olivia Voldaren
1 Slaughter Games
1 Mogis, God of Slaughter
2 Fulminator Mage
1 Sowing Salt
2 Blood Moon
2 Pyroclasm
2 Lightning Axe
