Considering the fact that we're gonna keep getting two DD's and at least one Commander/Multiplayer product every year, with great cards such as Sol Ring, Cabal Coffers, Demonic Tutor, Chain Lightning, Swords to Plowshares, etc. already showing up on non-promo, modern-bordered form, what cards would you really like to see in one of these products?
How do you figure that? I mean, they get reprinted and they go up? Explain...
When people stop opening them, the secondary market becomes the only real way to get them, driving up demand slightly.
Cards played in standard often goes up when they are no longer drafted because
A) People need them to play but no longer "randomly" opens them
B) The dedicated limited players no longer has them to dump, which lowers supply
Also in regards to #1, the promo (and playmat) is limited to the first 600 registrations, due to limited quantity. So if you're going to play in the Main event and want these, I suggest either registering online (see register page) or registering at the event on Friday evening. Saturday morning is going to be really busy at the registration table with all the out-of-towners.
I think he just googled GP Toronto, and for some reason the top-hit is the official Fact-sheet for GP Toronto 2010...
In the wake of the outrage that came when Chronicles was made devaluing lots of cards, so wizards made a promise to collectors
The list included all the cards from Alpha that had rotated out of print before Fourth Edition along with all the uncommons and rares from Antiquities, Arabian Nights, and Legends. In addition, from Ice Age through Urza’s Destiny, all the rares had only one opportunity to get reprinted in a base set and after that they were added to the reserved list, never to be printed again.
My FLGS pays out in packs at Limited events (and free tournaments), and Prize Credit at constructed tournaments.
Prize Credit is like Store Credit (which we can buy for cash to use in trades with other players), except:
- you cant use it to pay for tournament entry (even Limited)
- you cant use it to pay deposits on pre-orders
- you cant trade it away
- instead of lasting 4 weeks, it lasts 2 weeks1 week until the end of the day
"Going infinite" is rather tricky in such circumstances...

Im not a UK Lawyer, but i would check if thats legal - most countries have a legal minimum validity period on receivables... and i have never heard of one as short as a single day...
Its the TO's decisoin - its bad service, and likely not something that will net him long term customers, but it isnt inherently against the rules... and sometimes things happen that you could not foresee, the tournament runs late but the Venue is kicking you out at a certain time for example.
Heck even Wotc themself had a number of unforseen circumstances that forced them to cut 2 rounds of "The GP that shall never be named" (*Hint it was in Europe*), when it was announced over the PA that "sorry guys, we are playing 7, not 9 rounds" a number of people just stood up and left mid match because they had just been kicked out of contention for day 2...
Shuffling your opponent's deck is mandatory at Competitive and Professional RELs. You may ask a judge to shuffle your deck rather than your opponent.
And the judge will likely refuse unless you have a good reason - It has to be better than "sweaty palms"
Also i had an unpleasant situation where a guy was OVER protective of his cards, he called me over and said he didnt like the way his opponent was "mash-shuffling" his cards, and asked if i wouldnt mind shuffling instead.. i didnt see the harm, so i took the deck and gave a couple of quick riffles - and he flipped at me, how i dared to ruin his cards by riffleshuffleling them... apparently in his world the only "acceptable" form of shuffling was Pile-shuffling since everything else was bad for the cards... (*HINT* Pile-shuffling alone is never sufficient)
I've never seen anyone demand that an opponent uses actual tokens. I'm pretty sure it's not required at the highest REL, even.
The only time where it is "required" is on Video Feature matches at highlevel events (to make it easier for the viewers to follow what is going on) but in that case the TO supplies the tokens...
LOL. Not going to lie, I really lol'd hard at this. I think it's safe to go to at least, say, 10 Factories, maybe even 20. With 2 you're likely to deck yourself before you can win.
Chainers was an FNM Promo
and land tax a Judge Promo
After Dragon's Maze... so yes, it does still apply

Surely if anything it would become MTGO

On a more serious note i try to sell them as fast as i get them, but that isnt always easy, so currently im holding i think 12 displays

This is MUCH worse - you should never use sideboard cards, or other magic cards as tokens, unless maybe if you put them in different sleeves
But even then - a half-eaten grape >>>>> a magic card
Woah, woah
Are you seriously saying that Rape is a more heinous crime than Murder?
Both of them are despicable and nothing any sane person could ever condone, but Murder is worse than rape - atleast on my scale of morality

Surely 50 Leylines, 5 Serra's Sanctum and 5 Opalescence wins there
