No, to the first one. Its a triggerd ability of the demigod you play. Not of the ones in your graveyard...
to the second one: Yes & no
He can indeed stop persist creatures from comming back. The creature dies-> goes to the bin -> Persist triggers ... then before persist resolves you remove it from the game...
You can however NOT do this if he blocked himself, as the creature will go to the bin at the same time, so you cant remove it..
I think if its ally colors than we're probably going to get most four. If its not Allied colors we'll probably get at most five then. Or 6 if we get and Artifact Planeswalker....
Why 4 if it is allied colours? there is 5 "sets of allies"...
I dont see why not... i have even experienced a store that itself held 2 FNM's first a Standard Tourney, and then a draft once the standard was over... cant see why you shouldnt be able to attend as many FNM's as physicly posible
I just meant to ask... a black creature can become black? thats okay? isn't it already black? I was thinking... this sounds like tapping a creature that is already tapped...
well you can still activate your Goldmeadow Harrier targeting a tapped creature... same deal really
Yeah, i would actually tell people they SHOULD take their decks with them to dinner... as Binary said, leaving them laying around the store makes it way to easy for a tempted soul to help himself to some rares...
Was looking for some rules as to how many rounds you should play at various tournaments, and all i was able to find was
106. Minimum Number of Rounds
The DCI requires a minimum number of rounds for a tournament to be sanctioned and included as part of a player’s official ratings and rankings. For
Magic: The Gathering tournaments, the minimum number of rounds required is as follows:
For individual events, a minimum of three (3) rounds.
For team and multiplayer events, a minimum of two (2) rounds.
If the minimum number of rounds is not met, the tournament is no longer DCI-sanctioned, and will not be included in DCI ratings. If minimum number of rounds is not met for any DCI-sanctioned event, the tournament organizer should report the event to the DCI as "Did Not Occur."
isnt there any rules as to how many rounds if say 32 people show up? or is it just at the organizers disgresion?
Well the event havent taken place yet.. so will let him know the word of the rules, and see if cant get it "fixed" before an infraction is actually commited
Thanks... we have a shop here in DK doing <1700 prereleases and i was pretty sure that wasnt allowed, then when i trolled the boards and found Binarys post i was even surer... just wanted some hard defacto rules to shove in the TO's face =)
Tournament organizers do not have the ability to turn a player away from sanctioned events because their player rating is too high. Unless it's a premier-level event that has entry requirements (Pro Tour, etc.) any DCI member in good standing is eligible to compete in any sanctioned tournament (unless they're officiating the same tournament).
can anyone help to point me in a direction of this in official writting somewhere? i have tried both the UTR and the Floorrules, no luck...
It strikes me odd that the Evil eye is texted as "except by walls" if this was infact a authentic errated version shouldnt it say Creatures with defender?
to the second one: Yes & no

hope that helps...
even moreso, if he for some reasons counter your demigod BEFORE the trigger resolves you would even get that very demigod he countered back aswell;)
Warning. Please make sure to add some form of content apart from a simple smiley to your posts.

Umm Twillight shepard says "When Twilight Shepherd comes into play, return to your hand all cards in your graveyard put there from play this turn."
so no.. you wont get the land back... you cant discard lands "from play"
