I know this is the BW Eldrazi Processor thread.. but have any of you tried Mono Black Eldrazi Processor yet? With Ifnir Deadlands it really got me thinking and so I put together this list that I plan on playing at FNM tonight. Any suggestions or criticism is welcome!
I've often thought about building Eldrazi Tron with the flavor of my favorite color, blue. I'm not sure about Endbringer though. I want to see more results of having that creature in the deck before I use it. Have you thought about adding one Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger as a possible game closing plan?
Every time I play the deck I seem to be either closing out the game or have lost completely before I'm able to reliably cast Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger. It feels like a win more card in such an aggressive build to be honest. And Endbringer is a house and a half. Playing out counterspells into Thought-Knot into Smasher into Endbringer into more counterspells is veryy hard for most fair decks to beat.
Been working on a Blue Trondrazi deck lately. Finally got the numbers where I want them. Any input would be great! The power level seems much higher than the normal Artifact based builds.
Congrats on the awesome finish! Great to see someone is winning with the demigod! How did you like running 23 lands with the 5 drop though? Were you ever wishing you had gone up to 24 lands?
Blood Moon seems to be best in the side right now imo. Drawing multiples in a matchup where it's basically a dead card feels just horrible.
Also I've noticed many disown Bloodghast recently. But after playing without him enough, it has shown me how truly valuable his early bits of damage are. Control decks simply can't beat multiple bloodghasts without wasting a Path to exile on one, which I'm nearly always happy to have happen since that means less paths for our fatties to have to worry about once they come down.
I'm still working on the most efficient build using Demigod as its finisher and this is the best list I've came up with so far. Collective Brutality seems like the missing key to the puzzle though and has worked superbly alongside Reveler thus far. Here is the list:
4x- Bloodghast
4x- Demigod of Revenge
2x- Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet
2x- Bedlam Reveler
What is everyone's consensus on playing Cage over Relic at this point? Cage seems to hit more important cards/ matchups... But I do love drawing that extra card.
Hello Water Breathers! I will be attending my first SCG Open on September 17 in Orlando FL this upcoming weekend and of course I will be playing Merfolk. Will anyone else here be attending?
I will be experimenting with 3 Spell Pierce in the main to combat how fast the meta has gotten recently.
This will be my first large tournament and I am seeking a bit of advice from any of Merfolk players who have done well at opens before. Also, any advice on my sideboard would be much appreciated.
4 cursecatcher
4 Silvergill adept
4 Lord of Atlantis
4 Master of the Pearl Trident
4 Master of Waves
4 Merrow Reejerey
2 Harbinger of the tides
2 Tidebinder Mage
I love the idea of using Demigod of Revenge to close out games. With Faithless Looting and Lotv it seems very likely to have 1-2 of them in the yard by the time you cast one on turn 5.
I've yet to test the list but I'm going to try to add Bloodghast to the mix to add even more resiliancy along with an early clock. Here is what I have thus far:
4x- Bloodghast
4x- Demigod of Revenge
3x- Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet
So I'm playing a 1k PPTQ on Sunday and going with da folk. What is everyone's consensus on Remand vs other counterspells for our sideboard? Right now my side has 2 spell Pierce and 2 negate. But I feel like I could switch it to 4 Remands. Has anyone here ever played with the full playset of 4 Remands in the side with success?
