I suppose I didn't calculate Gideon into the equation. It also depends on what build of tokens you want to play. Elspeth, knight-errant is fantastic in raise the alarm shells, but lacking in blossom shells. I never did test Gideon in a raise the alarm shell, but I've found it best to run 3 Sorin, SV in a blossom shell. Gideon just never made the cut.
Oh thank god this got updated. The old one had so many mistakes. I disagree about tirel being the best walker. Sorin, SV is, with knight errant being second. Want my help in improving this? I have my own primer here: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/bw-token-primer/#c2459297
Edit: Hallow can stop pyro as well, but being able to block continuously makes forge-tender the much better card. The reason why nor firewalker is even better than forge tender is is because it can both block, and will often gain more life throughout the game then forge-tender would prevent with it's sacrifice. And when it is sacrificed, you can no longer block of course.
There is a massive difference between forge-tender and hallow. Hallow is a one time effect that you have to keep Mana open for. Forge tender can block goblin guide, monastery swiftspear, protect tokens from pyroclasm, AND stop a bolt. The two are immensely far apart in usefulness. Kor firewalker is even better than forge tender is against burn.
I think running 3 Aurioks is best. It's just so good in this meta. Frossty, Hallow should definitely be taken out of your sideboard. And I like kor firwalker better against burn personally, so I'd suggest running that.
Depending on the amount of hand disruption, it's possible. Scapeshift is a very tough matchup, but depending on his side he could beat it. Leyline and Fulminators worked well for me.
What list are you running for tokens? Your sideboard? With those decks, (with the exception of tron) you should be able to stand a fighting chance of doing well in your FNM.
I never disagreed with frosty in terms of testing, I merely disagreed about the use of myth realized. And if I were to make a splash it would be green for gavony township.
I certainly agree that testing things is good. I still don't think myth realized is the right answer. Tokens actually has a fairly good matchup in this meta though, I find. Of course Tron is on the rise, which is a massive pain, but fulminator helps.
