Well in all fairness, it probably was a jank deck compared to faeries.
It was.
I was new to standard when Shards was released and I threw together a deck with Demigods and some Broodmate Dragons because those were the coolest things ever. Most of the other FNM players gave me advice on how to improve the deck and what to cut and eventually it could hold its own. The two I mentioned bothered me a little at the time, but now I look back and laugh about it.
I was once called a 'net-decking *******' at FNM a few years back. This happened in a Jund Ramp mirror match and the only real difference between our decks was that he was using Madrush Cyclops and I was using Garruk Wildspeaker. I thought it was ironic since this kid shows up with a Jund deck once it started becoming popular.
Not too long after that, I was told I was using a jank deck by a Faeries player...
What's the posibility of something like this being used to create an army?

At the begining of your upkeep, you lose 6 life. T Put a 6/6 black Angel Horror creature token with Flying, first strike, trample, fear, shadow and protection from green into play.
A note from the compiled info thread says: "Spellshapers will 'shape permanents, rather than sorceries and instants." Maybe a new Ixidor that makes Akroma tokens?
That list of dragons is nearly identical to the one I built to go against a friend's casual proxied dragon deck. For mine, I used almost all black. There's nothing better than dropping a swamp and then using Dark Ritual, followed by Entomb (or Cry of Contrition) to send a 6/6 flier to the graveyard, and then using Exhume for a first turn dragon. You can use the black bounce lands (Dimir Aqueduct, Golgari Rot Farm, Rakdos Carnarium, and Orzhov Basilica) on turn two to force yourself to discard, if you go second, and then exhume on turn three. The lands also give you some color to pay the dragon's activated abilities. For multiple dragons, you could use Buried Alive to bury Bladewing the Risen and two other dragons and then hit Bladewing with a Dread Return. With black's conter (Dash Hopes), life gain (Soul Burn), and removal (Damnation), you can build a decent 20 dragon deck. I'm not sure how much you want to alter the structure, but black does give you a little bit of extra speed.
To clarify the judge question, I was asking if I should I expect to be DQed if I mispronounce a cardname or something like that and nothing about cheating.
Thanks for answering my questions. I was pretty sure about my answers, but wanted to make sure. The last DCI tournament I attended was a Pokemon one a long time ago (in that one, we used cards we owned and couldn't alter the decks between rounds.) Sorry for sounding newbish, but who would wanna be kicked out before the fun began?
With the Planar Chaos prerelease in less than a week and this one being my first, I have a load of questions about it.
So far, I know that it is a limited tournament and that I will need to build a 40 card minimum deck out of the stuff I recieve at the door.
Now for the questions:
Will I be able to use Time Spiral cards I already own?
Will I be able to alter my deck between rounds?
Will I be able to trade between rounds to alter my deck?
How strict are the rules for this? (I think I read that a level 1 judge will be there)
How early should I arrive?
How long does it usually last?
Any other tips?
Thanks for looking this over and I hope to have a blast this Saturday.
