I actually personally like cards that have a bit of wear. They are cheaper and it's fun to think back on all the games those cards must have been a part of (unsleeved).
My biggest purchase regret is not buying a VERY HEAVY PLAYED beta Tundra about 10 years ago. Just before beta duals started to rise a lot in value. I could have picked it up for $100 but passed due to it's condition. That was even cheap back then, but now the value have literally 10'doubled.
Over the last years wizards have printed very many good cards for cube, and we have almost filled all available slots, so we can build cubes with optimized mana curves and archetype support.
What card slots do we currently need more for, or what archetypes needs more love from wizards in your opinion?
I would really like a new interesting white one mana creature, to replace my Savannah Lions and still maintain my current count of 10.
My latest purchase. Now I only need A/B power, 6 duals and Mana Vault to have blackbordered all my cube.
It will probably be a while before I'll get those though, as the prices are so high right now. And that my wife just gave birth to my first - a litte boy.
I see a surprising amount of familiar avatars still kicking around. Haven't looked at a Magic card in a very long while and am completely out of the loop. But looking at that current spoiler there seems to be no shortage of new cube fodder...
So how are things? How's cube?
Is Absorb finally dead?
Long time since last.
I've finally cat my Absorb a few years back. Even to the point where I think I sold my foil copy... Some things do change.

Looks like you got the same sickness as me.
Beautiful cards. A/B cards have so much personality and these two are great examples. Congrats on your purchase.
Nice one. Especially the Pai Mei one.

I don't think it will be good enough unfortunately.

That's true. A cube is a game, an art form, a collector's dream (and your best pal at lonely nights).
I personally lige the Egg. For me it's a really nostalgic card and I think its power level in on par.
I did the same. Check out my cube in my sig if you want ideas (or have any for mine old school cube).
me too
