    It doesn't look like Emrakul... Like... At all...
    We know that something is trying to make Jace crazy (and probably he is a good target as he is a mind mage and can spread it to everyone he meets) yet it feels like it is too complicated to be something coming from an entity so alien to actually not communicate at all with other living beings.
    Ulamog seemed to be pretty much oblivious of its followers, apart may be from vampires, but they too would be consumed anyway.
    Kozilek's presence alone was enough to turn Tazri its side (before divine intervention and literlly the power of love saved her) and almost turn Kiora, before she fell into the sea.
    There was no subtlety to them. (and Cosi was known as the Trickster to Zendikari merfolks).

    Yet here we are something that influences minds stripping them of questions. Like it wanted to remain secret.
    Something that is teasing and misleading Jace and toying with his mind ad playing tricks rather than obliterating it and turn him into servitude.

    I really hope that it is something else than Emrakul.


    I feel it is less that Jace is a good target and more that since he reads the minds of everyone around him pretty much passively (based on his lore) that he's more likely to just be exposed to it at a quicker pace.


    Perhaps it isn't Emrakul but literal Cthulhu, or another Eldrazi, who knows. Next thing we'll hear is that Yawgmoth was a proto-drazi or something nonsensical.

    Beat me to it, I've been thinking "Waitlands" since I saw the spoils. Slow lands seems more for stuff that would just enter tapped (like the tri land cycle) and you can't get around that, same with lag lands. Waiting though on your buddies can either take forever or be almost non-existent. After all, if you hit the requirement you end up with them waiting on you effectively.

    Decree of Annihilation, because sometimes you never want to worry about that pesky protection getting in the way. I run it in my Keranos, God of Eye of the Storm deck. Also works well with suspend.

    Oh no, entirely true, it wasn't the best strategy but it came out of a weird necessity for card advantage, most of the games I end up in aren't what one would call "normal", my pairings just usually end up being weird. That being said I have gone over turn 20 in sealed several times before when it turns into a staring match.

    You could try Surrak Dragonclaw also, uncounterable creatures(i.e. Hermit), auto trample, and access to blue for Copy Enchantment on Doubling Season/draw effects and some control as well as red shenanigans with Dogpile. Emmara Tandris is also a possibility.

    I enjoyed what they had so far but I could see it continuing or just leaving off there. It sort of felt like he jumped in power a bit too fast for it to really have much for pacing beyond what they did. By the end of what they had this season it already felt like there wasn't much room for expansion. The power creep of his abilities just seems sort of unfair lol.



    Not sure, I mean they did cover a lot of what was printed in the light novels to my knowledge, so it might be a while.

    Currently having high hopes for Ushio and Tora and wondering where Toei Animation is stealing budget for Precure again.

    I haven't read all the pages past a few of the original posts, but my take on the limited 40 card deck 17 lands.

    I've gone to 18 in early Khans due to the 3 colors or that time in RtR block when I had a 4 color defender deck with literally 3 cards in red, main blue green black (I was doing badly so I said to heck with it and built a second deck and actually won with it), I've gone to 16 or even 15 if some chance in hell let's me go one color or barely splash a second and didn't require double of the secondary color to cast/had proper mana makers, and I find it varies in regards to lands but that 16-18 is a good number to keep as a baseline then adjust if needed.

    As to Deck Size of 40 cards, I've gone over and it's fine, sometimes adjusted to be more than 40 on account of having one too many draw effects. Going back to Khans I had a 45 card deck because of Temur, and having Weave Fates, Treasure Cruises, and fun amounts of draw effects meant I was risking deck out, and the extra cards helped me win in a stall game against someone else also running about the same amount of draw effects. In short if you are worried you might use one too many draw effects, go above 40, maybe even hit the magic answer of 42.

    I mean, I like how they do promo's now, but it would be more awesome if they gave everyone a promo they weren't allowed to use also like ye olde days. Everyone should get an Alhammaret's Archive and not be allowed it in their deck.

    It's less "strictly worse faith's fetters" and more "potentially better arrest for 1 more mana, as it stops mana abilities but is non-land instead of creature like arrest was.

    I'm for it as long as the giant's are appropriately big enough (i.e. bigger than Hill Giant, which Skyraker seems to be to me) and also more agile, as flavor wise a slow brute versus just a really tall guy shouldn't have reach guaranteed flavor wise.

    Last I heard the promo's work like the past several pre-releases, six packs of origins and a 7 card seeded pack though this time. From what I heard there is a chance of your planeswalker being the promo among other cards in color. But for clarification it is 99% likely it is just a date stamped version of the rare.
