Land does nothjng without cheap creatures to abusem
Yall should also git gud and play more removal.
I rarely play modern but I'm pretty sure that there's not enough good land removal for the format. Either way, I'm curious how many cards will get affected this time.
That's a lovely art for a card with a great effect. We also get to see more notes from Tamiyo. Hopefully, this card and the next reveals will send the eldrazi conspiracy to the bottom of the sea. I'm pretty sure emrakul isn't associated with the ocean.
Seems to me like wizards is still scared of graveyard strategies thanks to threshold and dredge. I don't know about standard so I won't say anything but I'm sure that it'll be too slow for modern and legacy. In edh, it'll see a place in decks whose strategy revolves around the graveyard. It's that easy sending stuff to the graveyard.
The abilities of sorin makes his Maa cost worth it. He gives card advantage and has the ability to kill planeswalkers. His ultimate gave me a giggle.
As for the mana dork, I guess he is rare cause of his delirium. He's alright.
That's...really? I saw the card name and was really hoping for something more akin to Nephalia Drownyard. This is just, it taps for 1 colorless mana, woohoo. Oh, and you can pay 3 to get it back into play (tapped) from the yard. Yeah, nothing to write home about.
While it's nothing for you, it's pretty clear that most people, with me included, think otherwise. I'm pretty sure that this land is the only land that can actually resurrect itself, opening up various strategies that it can be involved in.
I completely prefer her over the Garruk flip because she doesn't dies to a sneeze upon flipping. I know she's useful for certain deck builds and I currently have no edh decks that can use her, but I will get her cause of the smug face she's making.
I can already tell that this will be one of those 'walkers that a lot of people try to make work but will invariably end up not working. It's a build-around card that's not worth building around. There are already numerous Madness and Delirium triggers that are cheaper and we're getting an instant-speed Vindicate so what's the point of using her in Standard?
Great art though.
I would not be surprised. Such was the fate of Narset Transcendent. If that is the case, at least I would be able to buy it at a low price if I can't get it in a trade or from a pack. That's how I got my narset for 10 dollars when she crashed from like 30 dollars.
I love the flavor of the art and quote. I definitely would be getting one for those teasons.
The card itself is good. Paying 3 life at three mana to get exile anything that isn't a land is a sweet deal.
Regarding land destruction, I believe land destruction cards should be made but asking it for a 3 mana instant speed card is too much. I agree wholeheartedly with those who have given reasons on pro-land destruction.the way i see it, if a person plays infinite combo, stax, or any other strategy that completely stomps the opponent/s, then they shouldn't complain if their land gets destroyed. I'm looking at you modern eldrazi decks.
