No, you can't. If you're just repeating the same action over and over, you're not advancing the game state, and a judge can call you for slow play. You can't just keep repeating the same thing over and over because there's a very, very slim chance for a specific result.

Why not? You're trying to win the game, it's not like your goal is to run out the clock.

So if I've got this right, end result is Emrakul in my hand, then the rest of my grave is shuffled in, then my opponent's.

    Thanks guys.

I'm blanking on how simultaneous SBEs and triggers work.

Basically what I was trying to do is this.

An opponent controls Emrakul; I control Paleoloth. And the end of his turn I [card=Chord Of Calling[/card] search and put my own into play. Emrakuls die, Paleoloth triggers, and Emrakul trigger.

By the time Paleoloth's trigger's target is chosen, Emrakul should already be in my graveyard, right - so he is a legal target?

And I know if I have multiple simultaneous triggers I can order them, and that counts here correct? My confusion comes from the fact that Paleoloth triggers as Emrakul dies and "then" Emrakul triggers, so there were two SBE checks.

    Thanks for any help.

No, protection from white prevents targetting from anything white. You cannot hit an object with protection from white with Devout Lightcaster nor Lightweilder. The "you may" only means that actually exiling what you target is optional.

Would pointing to it while my opponent is being Duressed count as "uniquely identify"?

"That. May I have the oracle text of that."

Again, this is derived information. You're not obligated to give a complete statement. While you can't lie and say it gives flanking, you can omit that it gives flying. Or you can just tell your opponent that he can ask a judge for the Oracle text.

Okay, so if I Duress and see Elspeth and don't remember what it does, I can ask a Judge for its Oracle text? What if I can't remember what its named?

Wait, are you saying that if a 5 year old Duresses me, I can show him a handfull of Japanese cards and I don't have to tell him anything about what they do or what they are? That seems unfair.

Is it legal, say during the last round of a prerelease (where 3-0 gets prize, 2-1 gets nothing), if you are paired up, to offer a prize split if you play the match anyway?

i.e. "Let's play this out, but take 3 packs each regardless of the result"

I'm replying here because I have a sort of similar situation, and wasn't too sure what to do now... hopefully someone more familiar with eBay's policies can help?

    I bought these:
    DCI juge foil Rebrowth 8$
    foil Scourge Wing Shars 1.50$
    foil Grave-Shell Scarab 1.50$

Shipping is 3$ on first card and .25 for each addl. item.

I don't care much for the Shards and Scarab - only grabbed them because shipping was essentially free.

Anyways, about a week later he refunds me $8.25 saying he didn't have the Regrowth. I asked him then to just cancel the whole transaction because I wasn't interested in paying $3.25 shipping on the 3$ of cards he mailed me that I don't care about. He now says he's already mailed. He said I can ship back the cards at my own expense. He also said I could "refuse the package" but I don't think he sent registered, nor do I know where it's being shipped from.

    What do I do now?

McGill is supposed to be an excellent school. The only problem is that I loathe Montreal. I'm not really sure why; most of the people I know who are familiar with it count it as one of their favourite cities. It just rubs me the wrong way.

Montreal is great outside of the wacky politics and anti-human-rights laws created by the pointless seperatist parties. It really is still a great city.

Second, Yuanti pulled a Kraj, and IP checked me and bertrand (And as a jerk, told me OF was bertrand). As a good faith thing, i told bertrand i was GIAG out of sympathy.

Arrgh! Two different people! Same IP does not mean same person!

Also, I was really unsure on what to do the day I got lynched. I said nothing at all. StormBlind basically sacked me (we had planned this in advance). I didn't want to attack him, and I didn't have much of a defense..

And I still think my vote on arim was justified, even from a townie's post of view. Between him or BigTime, I choose arim. What's wrong with that?

Anyways, was a pretty fun game, in spite of getting royally screwed. Can't wait for the next! Smile
