Jul 5, 2007Yawgmoth_Demon posted a message on Topic of the Day (6-22-07)I love the reintroduction of many cool cards such as Razormane Masticore and Hidden Horror into standard. I think the top decks will be changed completely by the shift and that Nationals is going to be mostly aggro because they will be the easiest decks to build. On a core-related side-note I loathe Wizards at the moment because of what they did to Black but it will pass.Posted in: Yawg's Blog

Anywho! Just saw "Live Free or Die Hard" today, thought it was pretty good, just thought those who read this needed to know that. -

Congratulations to our first African-American president. I hope he has the strength to lead us out of these dark times.
I understood everything because I played the games but I can definently see how it would be confusing for others. Brief cameos from characters who were never explained as a tribute to the game just added to the confusion. The fact that they cut out alot of the story (Mainly the Mob elements) was even worse.
Regardless though, I'm pretty sure this game will be a contender for GOTY.
I also completely agree that Galaxy is not an exception to the rehash feeling, in fact it's probably the biggest culprit. The game grew old quickly to me because of how similiar it felt to Mario 64. I honestly enjoyed Super Mario Sunshine more than Galaxy.
And I for one would absolutely love it if he became the next Yawgmoth in terms of storyline villiany. Having a continuous villain as cool as Bolas would be fantastic in my opinion.
Yet it does target the crowd that has put the Wii in first place, the casual gamers. LBP is Sony's attempt to gain some of the market share Nintendo has had to itself for a while now.
