Welcome to the area! For playing/play groups, it depends on where in Phoenix you are. If you are around Tempe, check out Pop Culture Paradise. It's right next to ASU's Tempe campus. Or if you are around Mesa, check out Gamers Inn. My favorite place to go is PCP because of the atmosphere; has to be one of the best places I have ever played magic at. I am sure at either place you could find an acceptable play group for you.
I am speaking from experience here and its not worth it.
I dated a 16/17 year old girl while I was 19/20 (our birthdays happened during the course of the relationship) for about 3 months. The age difference didn't bother us, but when it came down to it, it made the difference. She may have seemed mature to me, but she was really just like every other high school girl, not knowing what she wants and changing her mind about it all the time. Our relationship was going just fine until one day she just stopped liking me and bam, it was done. I hadn't done anything wrong really, but it was done.
Also, there are really 2 reasons to start a relationship: 1) to have a lasting relationship and 2) to have some fun. 1) will not work. She is 17, she has NO idea what she wants and while it may be good for awhile, her wants will change and you will be left out in the cold. 2) very BAD idea here. Looking for a physical based relationship with a minor is a VERY bad idea. Just find someone your own age, or wait till she is 18 if you guys want to mess around a bit.
Yes, you are correct, everything is a zombie. However Vampire Nocturnus doesn't pump zombies... Just Vampires, which there are none of except him :P. Doesn't sound worthy of a spot to me.
Losing Warhammer hurts.. Quietus Spike as a replacement maybe? Idk, seems tough to replace.
Its fast, its efficient and the mana is surprisingly good. You have 8 sources of each splash color for your 8 splash cards. Here I think that the new duals are far better than the filters because you only ever need 1 of the splash color and keeping a hand with only them isn't completely horrible (whereas 3 filters + 4 spells = auto mull).
For Pre-M10 you want some Magma Sprays somewhere in your deck. Kitchen Finks will rob games from you so a set between MB and SB should do.
You are also only running 22 lands and a set of Demigod, which is a little high on the curve. For 5 mana you are already wanting to unearth Hell's Thunders or you want to be doing multiple things (unearthing Hellspark and casting Boggart Ram-Gang). Demigod just doesn't seem good enough in todays meta, with all the Paths running around. I would rather see MB Anathemancers instead and get the Magma Sprays into the side. As a former player of the deck, I am almost insulted at the lack of Blightning anywhere in your list. The card is absolutely sick and the only matchup it is bad in is GW tokens/Doran. So unless your meta is infested with those decks, you need to be running that card. Seriously, cascading into a Blightning off of a Bloodbraid is the ****.
Just to further clarify, M10 will immediately rotate out 10th edition. However when M11 comes out, or w/e its called, it will not immediately rotate out. M10 instead will rotate out when the set after M11 rolls in.
As for the deck, there must be something better than Vampire Nocturnus, no? I mean he doesn't have any interactions with your deck other than that its mono black.
The alters in here are getting absolutely sick. thefourhorsemen, you are establishing yourself as one of the best alterers this thread has ever seen. I am seriously considering looking you up for a few commissions. Just need some cool ideas..
Depends on what you mean by a 1 drop. Do you mean 1 mana cost cards or cards that you want to play turn 1? I will list a bunch of the best from many catagories of 1 drops:
Best 1 drop ever? That's tough but its prolly Sol Ring imo. Ridiculously overpowred mana accel, and THE first pick from my cube (we don't play with power but it would contend with Recall). Best 1cc ever? Bar none gotta be Ancestral Recall.
I am sure there are many that I am missing, but those are what I can think of off the top of my head.
The Dreadnoughts seriously win this thread. I would LOVE to be the lucky owner of those. You have proven to be one of the best, if not the best artist in this thread (imo of course :)). Congrats and keep up the great work!
W: Wrath of God. Screw Day of Judgement, River Boa should not be able to survive a wipe spell such as this.
U: Remand. Blue needs a better cheap splashable counterspell. Here it is.
B: Dark Confidant. Card draw + efficient beater, would make MBA a viable deck.
R: Uhh, does Lightning Helix Count?
G: Tarmogoyf. Love this card and now with fetches back in standard, he would be even better.
Do Summer Magic dual lands even exist? I would have been just as skeptical as him of the validity of the card.

You NEED SOME form of discard to not auto-lose vs. Tokens, otherwise they will just roflstomp you pretty much every game.
I would try something more along the lines of:
21 Swamp
Creatures: 20
4 Dregscape Zombie
4 Cemetery Reaper
4 Death Baron
4 Stillmoon Cavalier
4 Viscera Dragger
4 Duress
4 Thoughtseize
4 Doom Blade
4 Sign in Blood
3 Tendrils of Corruption
4 Black Knight
4 Deathmark
4 Everlasting Torment
3 [Something]
The discard can rip apart their hand turns 1-2 and allow you to drop your beats turns 3-5.
Hope this helps.

4 Savage Lands
4 Dragonskull Summit
4 Rootbound Crag
11 Mountain
4 Hellspark Elemental
4 Ball Lightning
4 Boggart Ram-Gang
3 Hell's Thunder
4 Bloodbraid Elf
4 Lightning Bolt
3 Magma Spray
4 Blightning
3 Volcanic Fallout
4 Flame Javelin

Keep up the great work guys (and gals)!
W: Swords to Plowshares, Mother of Runes, Isamaru, Hound of Konda, Land Tax
U: Ancestral Recall, Ancestral Vision, Brainstorm
B: Dark Ritual, Duress/Thoughtseize, Vampiric Tutor
R: Lightning Bolt, Grim Lavamancer, Goblin Lackey
G: Birds of Paradise/Llanowar Elves
1: Sol Ring (wins bar none), Skullclamp, SDT, Aether Vial
Multi: Figure of Destiny

Terminate = Planeshift (new art sucks anyways)
Incinerate = Ice Age (although the new art is cool)
Mogg Fanatic = Tempest
and so on...
Hmm, I wonder what color I play :P.
