I think this card can push Dimir Faeries to playable in Standard. Its sort of floor is seeing play. Any Faerie turns it into good ol' Mana Leak and two push it above the usual rate for Standard (Scatter Ray or Assimilate Essence don't count since those have type restrictions). I can see aDimir Faeries shell with Kaito Shizuki as the guest of honor making some noise in the upcoming months.
Agreed. I think this is going to be one annoying card in Standard soon.
To make decks truly "playable out of the box" sleeves should also be included.
It's not like anyone still plays without them, and considering the inflated retail price of some decks (due to no MSRP), this would be a nice way for Wizards to say to their customers: "We care about protecting your investment".
So how many of you already ordered your Angels deck?
Remember... Supplies are limited!
They did that ONCE as far as I remember. With the Modern Event Deck that came with nice unique sleeves. One of the best and most value laden pre-constructed deck they ever put together. So they could do it but they refuse to do so. They probably want you play with the cards unsleeved hoping you will damage them and having to buy more product to replace it.
Did not order. Only ordered 2 Secret Lairs total over the years. Would have popped on it for $50 as I love tribal decks and Angels are up there at the top for me. No sense feeding the Greed Machine.
Perhaps we as a community should create a "Pauper Commander" format where only commons and uncommon legendary creatures can be used and see if it catches on?
I wanted to revisit this. The format exists but not exactly as MysticX has suggested. You can use ANY uncommon creature as your commander. By my estimation that is well over 4000 potential Commanders. MysticX suggests that we limit that to LEGENDARY Uncommon Commander creatures. This would limit the Commander pool to 300 to 400 possible Commanders.
Frankly that is how I would envision Pauper Commander. Just using any Uncommon creature as a Commander sullies the format in my opinion.
I mean, up until very recently there were only a handful of non-rare legends and most of those were crummy Legends/Homelands guys.
That isn't the case now at all. Using Scryfall I see 307 total available. If they opened it up to Uncommon Legendary Planeswalkers that number would creep up a bit too.

I would be fine with Pauper Commander. Only common or uncommon Legendary Commanders and the 99 would have to be ALL commons. Someone assuredly plays it somewhere. Problem is like Pauper it doesn't make WotC/Hasbro any real money at all. I play my own budget format. Artisan decks (only commons and uncommons) are pretty darned fun. A lot of players want to spend the money, netdeck and pretend they are good deck builders and players by loading as many powerful rares and mythics into their decks as possible. Talk about boring.
• a creature with two triggers, one for artifacts entering the battlefield and one for enchantments
Looking forward to this one. It could be busted if costed too low for sure. Which means they probably will and it will be a 40 dollar plus card in Standard. Will need to wait and see.

I am going to play the heck out of Mosswood Dreadknight in Standard.

Over 4000 potential Commanders dilutes the format in my opinion. A total turn off.

They are still torn apart just as much if not more today than back in 2011. Except now you pay a whole lot more. (mic drop)

I remember the "good old days" when you could score a Commander deck for 25 to 30 bucks and it was reasonably chocked with value.
